Here's a video for people who want to see just how unworth that Ultra really is. Maybe some pros can show me the light on where that Ultra will be more useful than his Ultra 1.
Ultras can have utility you know. Plus his first ultra got a huge damage nerf anyway, and damage scaling is really showing.zlatko said:

Okay that makes it less awful then my original impression was. It'll be interesting to see once the game hits how many Sagats use it versus Ultra 1.

hey mang, you play vega alot? got some tips for a struggling vega? I usually play charge characters, I guess you could say my "mains" are bison and blanka. But somehow I always get my shit kicked out of me when I play vega.
I can usually hold my own against most run of the mill xbl players, but as soon as I get stuck in a corner with vega I might as well put down the controller. The only thing I've ever been able to escape with is EX- ST, everything else some dude can just mash spam lp and beat me out of eeeeeverything :S. You name it, they beat me out of it :[
I've read stuff on eventhubs and found some kewl stuff there. And shoryuken is....well its shoryuken...

How do situations like GameFAQs and Shoryuken happen? Incredible resources, but an incorrigible community of fuckwads.

From my experience fighting him, Vega really can't do anything safe but block/throw-tech on wakeup, then try and escape the old fashioned way. You might try charging down-back while you're getting up, sit in crouchblock, get ready to tech a throw attempt if they try it, then wait for an opening to use Jab xx EX FBA or back throw to get yourself on the other side.

Vega's l.lp is a good pressure poke like what you'd find with Balrog. But I don't find it very consistent to just keep poking. Mix it up good with some pressure combo's like l.lp, l.mk -> l.rolling claw attack. Just remember to dash back after a rolling claw attack. Gives you some space to work with, and gives some good ground to use his Leaping Kick (df.hk).
Vega's all about shenanigans from the get go. You could go with say a l.lp, l.lp into arial claw attack (forward) for a quick reversal. You just gotta watch how close you are to a wall.
Scarlet Terror you can also mix into l.lp as well. It's also a great anti air tool for those who like to jump in.

Good place to start.
Edit: One thing I've found on wake up that's been probably 50% effective is going right into a KKK back flip, then followed with a scarlet terror. It works if your opponent isn't paying attention. They think free hit after the back flip but get their faces wrecked with a scarlet terror.

The crazy stuff I have seen from him: demanding the right to beat the shit out of women (a musulman also demanded the right to beat in wife in France and was quickly deported),he actually admitted having hit women and blah blah blah.On a site full of asians,he would keep shitting on them and keep fueling his own monstrous ego.Never got a warning or got banned for his comments on women or asian,which should give you a good idea of the community.It also seems SRK had a lot of loose canon which worked in the army and had things to say on asian (to use the polite word) or would be ready to bomb Japan again (most FG are made in Japan but eh...) or the white supremacist going on a gigantic post to explain the though process of black peoples.That's not talking about the endless shit talking or flame wars and SRK trying to talk about politics or subject well beyond their capacity. :lol :lol
I took a 2 and a half year break from srk.Since I frequently go there nowadays,I haven't checked out the GD forum once and won't go there ever again. :lol
