Her moves have great priority, stun, damage, and hit stun/block stun though.

But yeah, she dies too easily considering she doesn't have good defensive moves.

lifenerfs have been going around, 950 might just be the new 'average'.

950 is the new 850 when it comes to the pessimism of HP discussion these days :p

I wish she had 1000, but barring Seth the health gap between characters is a good bit smaller now.

No need, she can jump cancel her uppercut.
I've heard someone say that uppercut, 2362369KKK works, but doesn't go into 'cutscene' mode like normal. I've yet to see it though.

Love hearing the impressions, game can't come out soon enough. All the new cast seems really solid outside of potentially Adon, can't wait to hit the lab and see what new chars click.

Sad to see that Gouken hasn't gotten much love in the buff dept, but I guess beggars can't be choosers, just ask Guile and Gen players :D

Ignoring the fact that it's post-dizzy and scaled, you're supposed to juggle after. You can do around 600 damage with Abare Tosanami and one block of meter.

With chun-li you can focus crumple then level 1 focus to get them airborne so you can triple head stomp.

They are airborne IIRC. That would be very useful for non ultra followups.

Will be interesting to see if Sharin sticks with Abel (giving he's looking to stay similar to his SF4 incarnate) or switch to Makoto. The lack of Karasuka's was a little concerning, as was her sole dependancy on pokes but her stun looked pretty fucking brutal. Two Karasuka>EX Hayate combos to stun Sagat?

i was talkin about the anti projectile in the begining

but a second look....its not 2 bad, with the low revenge meter and post damage opportunity

Meh, too many characters to fall for in Super. It was nice finally getting to see Makoto punish with Abare proper in that vid. Both her Ultras are very well "shot", and somehow, hearing her Remix music just makes it all the more proper to see her in a previously impossible fight (As in. Sagat was nowhere to be seen in III.)

Without all the Shoryuken nerfs, I'd say she was in very dangerous territory, but with them, I think she'll have a better chance.

There's not much Tsurugi use in her vids. Is there anyway possible the move could be a defining tool in any matchups she's in? The fact you can combo after it hits, seems like a deliberate decision that I wonder if players are sleeping on...

Endings are animated though, IIRC.

All the ones posted there are like that, yeah. But we've seen some actual animation in one of the gametrailers videos, I believe such *might* be saved for the endings.

For a budget priced re-release with all the gameplay changes and additions this game has, I kinda have to think they've gone above and beyond what would be expected, really...

And I have to say I like Juri's look a bit more in that opening than I do in game. She just seems like she has even more of an edge.

GUYS, makoto sucks, not as much as sagat even though he sucks and cody and thawk rules.

edit: to be fair its pretty much the same sort of denial about makoto on SRK as well.
