Yup, looks like my PS4 will stay in the box this year. I'm a but upset I got caught up in all of the hype and purchased one at launch. I've had my PS3 plugged in 90% of the time that I've owned the PS4. Ah well!

Hopefully the XBO lineup is a bit more solid this year so I feel comfortable purchasing one. If not, it looks like a PC/Nintendo year for me. Maybe Sony will pull something out at E3?

I hope that the Order turns out great. Greatness awaits, and waits, and waits.
 
Bad PS4 news is bad :(

Well, at least they're making the game as best it can be. I have faith in RAD and from what I've seen, The Order looks awesome.
 
Disappointing. I hope they add local co-op. Otherwise the game looked pretty boring. Just the same standard tps cover shooting mechanic from countless titles before it.

Sony have put too much emphasis on graphical fidelity for the first round of games and it has meant delays to fix up gameplay issues. That was a mistake.
 
Those gameplay videos at better quality then the one showed the other day really gives us a much better impression of the IQ. Theres definitely NO downgrad at all. Love the atmosphere.

I think a lot of people here need to realise that games are taking longer to make this gen. So you just need to be more patient this time round. I'm sure both companies will have some E3 bombs that we need to remember.

Also whenever we have broken ass game that was rushed out we all hate on it, stop hating when a developer is actually given time to finish a freaking game so it IS POLISHED! Imagine the amount of crunch time these poor devs would of had to endure if it was to come out this year. Jeez guys

Remember, most developers have only known about the specs since the reveal, and it normally takes about 2-3 years to develop a big-budget game. Still, Smash Bros and Destiny are my only holiday titles for now.

It came up all the time. "They're relying on third-parties, it's not enough". Then someone would say "I have plenty of stuff to play on XBLA". But a lot of people didn't want to count smaller DL games. This gen is a literal swap of last gen. The opinions stayed the same but the corporate sponsorship on the avatars didn't.

Lmao I Like your bold claims. What do you know that we don't. Isn't sunset overdrive coming out this year? And Halo remastered? Sony has Drive club? A game that was delayed a year.

Microsoft is kicking butt this year. There's no other word to describe it, compared to Sonys lackluster performance so far.

Yup, it was definitely the stream that caused the concern. Game is looking (graphically) great.

Colin knows the way that Sony operates. Given his years of experience with them, I have to say that I'm not surprised that he was right.

The right call.

A rushed bad game is bad forever. This gives them a chance to make it into something special.
Plenty of games to play anyway.

So people should judge their happiness with their console based on how well said console is selling?

You've got a strange way of looking at these things. I gain my enjoyment out of actually playing games, not how well the console is selling.
 
Shame but I'm cool with the delay. At the end of the day I'd would rather they spent the extra time on it than for them to release it before it was ready.

There are also many people who simply are upset that a game they wanted to play is not being released when they thought it was going to be.

lol Let's not act like Xbone's 2014 is any better. We still have several rumored games to be shown according to ntkrnl's leak and even then, it's not worth hyping like people are trying to. Nintendo just might have the best game lineup going into the fall.

Good, I hope companies also realize they need also patient with my decision to not buy their hardware until they can get games that interest me out the door. I made one mistake in purchasing a console too early
goddam that Pikmin 3 delay
and I won't be doing it a 2nd time.
 
phew.. wasn't that originally announced as a launch window game?

concept has always looked good... hopefully they are bringing the quality up to the measure of that great concept.

Unlikely. Don't see how co-op would work considering they have a lot of scripted cinematic sequences where you are on rails doing stuff. Some QTE fights as well. They would have to rebuild all of those to make them work in co-op. Doubt that will happen.
