Eh, not really, it's not small at least. In any case, I'm in touch with some others at other sites that as of this morning hadn't received theirs yet.Only one? My guess is it's a bigger site?

Stuff like that is handled by publishers. Sony is the publisher.
we will get our review copy tomorrow - sony germany
I guess the reviews will be out by tuesday-wednesday next week.
Where'd you hear this? Or just guessing?
Infamous was the Thursday before the Friday release right? Feel like we'll get the same thing here.
So embargo dates are typically attached to the review copies, correct?
So we might potentially get some info tomorrow.
Yeah you're definitely right. People are really still looking for that big next gen franchise that we'll be sticking with for the next few years, and so far none of the new ones have really delivered. Although Bloodborne is technically a new IP we all know what to expect and what it will play like. The Order is next on the list to see if it will be one of the first next gen games to live up to its potential, which is both exciting and scary at the same time. Basically, we're still looking for the next Gears not in terms of gameplay but in terms of a game that established itself as the next big thing.I have a feeling it's going to be mayhem when the reviews start hitting regardless of what scores it's getting. Exciting times we live in.

I can honestly say I'm more excited for the review thread than the game. It should be gloriously awful on both sides of the line in the sand. It's been great watching the fireworks from a position of indifference.
If I remember correctly, sly cooper 4 and TLOU reviews came out a few days before the games were released.
edit:Yeah I put sly cooper in there, love that series. Infamous SS reviews were out on a Thursday
The Order 1886 |OT| We're really lycan it!
You sir are Knight worthy. The Order 1886 |OT| We're really lycan it!
could you summarize what they said?
You should play something else then.depth of field, motion blur, film grain... get out of the way, im trying to play a video game.

It's going to be like a Kotaku pizza party.
Will that be my last pizza party? Will I manage to survive to see the day tomorrow? It's going to be like a Kotaku pizza party.

this is worthy of an OT
This has to be the OT now people. Bravo sir, bravo.
I fully expect this game to get heavily panned by certain critics, but I also predict I'll quite enjoy it myself and end up disagreeing with many of the complaints upon my own play through. Been getting that a lot lately when comparing my own impressions with those of many journalists.
Hopefully critics appreciate the game is a linear cinematic story focused TPS title, and judge it for how well it pulls that off, instead of berating it for not being some other genre or type of game it never intended to be (Eg, less cinematic or more open world).
All these hyped up impressions is killing me. I hope this is the game is the next big tps.A guy from a localized gaming forum is a few chapters through the game (he has the game and some trophies from it on his PSN account so I don't think he's making it up) and is basically saying that the game is raising the bar for TPS genre, graphics and storytelling and could be a very serious GOTY contender from what he's seen so far. So, yeah...

I'm loving the impressions but trying to keep my expectations in check. I've seen people hype games of every quality. I'm keeping myself convinced I'll get a competent shooter with a good story and anything else is just gravy

Yup. It happens with every game especially when it's from early players.I appreciate the impressions, but these super hyped early reactions don't do much for me. I'm more interested in hearing from someone who's finished it and is going back through with a clear head. It's too easy to be wowed by these kinds of titles on the 1st playthrough, myself included, and especially when the tech is as crazy as it is in The Order.

The weapons and gear in this are beautifully done.
Not quite sure the threads will live up to the expectations expressed in this thread.
Shouldn't that euphoric feeling factor into the review, though? I agree that it shouldn't be the ONLY factor, but I know the feel from playing through U2 or TLOU for the first time is truly special, even if you can never get it back on subsequent playthroughs.I appreciate the impressions, but these super hyped early reactions don't do much for me. I have a feeling I'm going to love this game but it's not going to review well. Really hope I'm wrong on that part, while I may not personally give much weight to reviews and metacritic, they definitely have an impact on sales, and if the game is good I hope it sells well (and to help with that, review well)
It's really gonna irk me if "not open world" or "not innovative enough" shows up as a main negative point in a prominent review. So tired of that shit.
Anyways, we will see in a week how this turns out.
Was reading about the game and it seams Ru points to MGS as the biggest influence in how the story is told. That is a way to win me over, they are very good at speaking about their game, at the very least they are pretty good salespersons.
I'm getting this game as soon as I get a PS4, its hard to not just get one now in time to play this game and Bloodborne.
They had an story DLC?
