I think a Gabz MGS would be pretty stunning -- imagine something along the lines of his Pacific Rim piece, but with REX instead -- but I suppose that's moot if he doesn't want to do it. Did we find out if Ortiz would be open to MGS?
JIEYI's Princess Mononoke sold out today.
hinted spirited away might be the next one
I'm in a cool marvel fan expo at french comicon. Every piece is available for sale in two versions:
Classic Edition: 60x40cm (23,6x15,7 inches). Digitally printed on 300g card. Print stamped & numbered on the back. Limited edition of 50.
Deluxe Edition: 50x70cm (19,7x27,6 inches). Digitally printed on high quality 300g art paper. Print stamped & numbered on the back. Shipped with a numbered Geek-Art certificate of authenticity. Limited edition of 20.
Lots of cool things there.
And this is mine!
Thanks! We have 5 days left. Can't believe how fast it's going but still half the trip left. Constantly tired and hungry thus far, lol. Have definitely managed some awesome pics! What? That is where your honeymoon is Japan? You bastard take lots of pictures and have fun!! Congrats!
So I think no one would pick it up for me at SDCC, right?

.If it's Budich, you can most likely count me out. He finds a way to fuck everything up.
lol well no Budich then no problem. I'd be more than happy to take suggestions unless you guys want to wait for Ortiz, Gabz or Florey? Stout and Moss are probably safe to say are out I don't think either has the time and Stout never replied. Anyone?
I'd recommend New Flesh or Zac Gorman. I think everyone knows Gorman and New Flesh hasn't completely blown up yet, but he may be busy because I know a lot of people were asking for commissions earlier this year from him.
I mean I'd like to do it at some point, time-willing. I don't think I'd want to do a commission though. Because that's a lot of expectation. I'd rather just do it for free. But it's a time thing, and a "whether-or-not-I-have-a-good-idea" thing.

I'm really digging the Gorman stuff.
Man I loved MGS, especially the first for PS1. I remember going through the game to get either the ammo bandana or the stealth suit. Shit was so fun.
I don't think it's a good fit for me stylistically, though. I'm not really into drawing mechs and guns. I'm more suited for gory shit like Resident Evil or Silent Hill. I'd totally be down for either of those, or something similar. What do you think?
I like Ortiz stuff but I'm not sure I'd hang it on my wall. I guess it depends on how gory it gets I don't want to give my daughter nightmares. But if the majority are down for that I'd say we can go for it and see how it turns out I can always keep it off the wall in storage.
Hey got email back from Sarah, Tyler Stout is to busy right now but she will let us know if that changes. Pretty nice of her to at least send that back they are both busy. Ahh well we could dream.
Well I guess we'll just have to get Ashley Wood to make us an MGS print

New Flesh said:Hi Nathan,
Thanks for your interest man! While I love doing commissions for all sorts of projects, I am not the best choice for this one. I am a total noob when it comes to video games. I know that it is terrible, I don't even have a console.
Fortunately, there are tons of artist out there that are gamers that will hit this out of the park for you. Good luck!
Best,
