took me forever to figure out what the '1, 4, 7' meant. i blame the awesome artwork messing up my think-box.
also, bought. squirtle is mine. and a pikachu, obviously. just gotta' send a little pm to a certain someone...

I've never bought anything through Moss' own site.. can I register or sign up for anything in advance to make sure I get one? I guess in this case it looks like it won't be as limited based on what I'm reading but I'd feel better if I had an account in advance if one was needed.

Got a Tim Doyle Transformers animated movie print recently, gorgeous. Just wish he would use a more common size for his poster prints.

Does anyone know where to find a print of James Rheem Davis Nightmare on Elm Street? Seems very rare

I have the first two of his Wire set framed.. but missed the third sadly. One of these days I will get a hold of it as the resale value on eBay isn't awful ($80) but man, what a bummer. :(

Edition size is 100 for the gold and 250 for the regular red edition.

For the gold edition, 70 will be for sale at the triforce tribute show in Oregon on March 9th. I think some are being held back for on-line sales through the gallery.

The rest, nothing has been announced but I believe Moss will do another online drop.

=) Moss has a thread there. The place is THE place for all the poster news on the net. In addition, there are some sites that report daily: http://omgposters.com/ , follow the artists on twitter, subscribe to newsletter etc. But a lot of news is from expressobeans. I highly recommend visiting there if you're interested in these types of limited edition posters.

Unfortunately, even though my fingers are on the pulse, come release time, it's harder for me to score cause I'm in Japan =( I can't score any drops that have checkout by paypal only, for instance.


Just to update on Zelda Moss, by the by:

"Olly Moss Variant Print Details

A lot of folks have been writing and calling asking for details on the Olly Moss prints. We'll have 70 of the Variant print (pictured above) available for the show.

In person sales for the prints will begin at Noon on Friday, March 9th at Land.
We'll be selling them on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The gallery is actually fairly small and with over 30 artists in the show, it is a little tight on space, so selling them before the opening lets us focus on the opening and lets us make sure everyone who wants to see the show, can.
Prints will be limited to one per person.
Prints are $100. Cash and credit cards accepted.
Sorry, there will be no phone orders.
We'll have tubes available for people who want them at an extra charge.
We'll be holding aside a small number of prints for online sale.
Online sales will happen after the opening, and we'll have more details later on when and how that will work. We're recommending that everyone interested in a print subscribe to this newsletter."

How much does framing usually cost? I've always just done it myself. Went up to Michaels and the lady at the counter told me that today that had 55% off today so it would only cost me $300 for a cheap metal frame.

...Yeah, that's not gonna happen.

Just bought a ton of frames for around $150 from here.

-Dark wooden 36x12
-Metal 20x36
-Five cherry wood 5x5's for when the Moss Pokemon set comes out.

Not too shabby considering they let you put in custom sizes no problem.

?? I spent $80 to get two 18x24 or so posters framed (black metal frame) at Hobby Lobby. She was just fuckin with ya or something.

So Mondo are officially opening a gallery tomorrow night here in Austin. The opening runs from 6-10 PM. People are lining up already!

It's in the 30s and rainy here tonight. I drove by the store and at least they're under an awning..very curious what posters they'll drop tomorrow.

Star Trek II by Tyler Stout is likely 100% one of them.

Todd Slater will drop one too.

There are a bunch of artists on Mondo's invite. Kevin Tong will be there in person so he will have one. ansin and Moss seem likely too.
