Looks like you have to be pretty on top of things to even get the Wes Anderson prints at the con - the way that page is worded it seems like they will be posting on twitter the times when certain prints go on sale at the show.

Huh, I wasn't able to add to cart when I checked before writing that post. I guess it was a glitch on my end or something. I stand corrected.

In any case, I took another peek over at his blog, and it seems he'll have at least 50 more of the GiD variant up for sale sometime "in the future". He's going to offer hand finishing the prints with a silhouette of the Doctor/Companion or a villain of your choice on top of that. Of course, he also says that he'll offer a hand finishing service for anyone who grabbed a print beforehand.

I'm not helping at all, am I?

Holy crap I just scored one, thanks so much for posting that Mockingbird I had missed the other drops on this! This will be my second Englert print, I just got the Walking Dead one framed and I just love it to pieces.

I was wondering if they're gonna sell that Halloween poster online? I love it but I'm in Europe so there's no way for me to go to the local stuff obviously. Which site should I keep an eye on and is there a time for that drop?

EDIT: Whoops just got the mondo newsletter, misread the post in this thread so for some reason thought it wasn't Mondo. BUT reading that newsletter just crushed my hopes and dreams since it won't be sold online? Not sure If I want it bad enough to pay eBay prices.

The Dark Passenger by Todd Slater

18 x 24 – 6 color silkscreen – edition of 125 (sparkle variant to 25) - This print was commissioned for the first Bottleneck Gallery show entitled: More Than You Imagined: Art Inspired by Premium Cable. This idea started off being titled "Slice of Life" and included Dexter's infamous boat above a stormy sky. I realized midway thru that the real idea here was the Dexter character as the dark side of the moon looking out over all of Miami. The light and dark of the moon represent the two sides of his personality: the white is the pristine character that Dexter projects in public; the one everyone sees. The dark side, which represents much more of who he is, is hidden from plain site but visible to those who look closer. To the left and right of the moon are two dark angels (printed in a shiny black varnish). The one on the dark side whispers destruction while the one on the light side hushes Dexter and preaches tranquilty.

Have you seen In Bruges? It's brilliant, and it's the same director. Trailers for both aren't particularly inspiring but In Bruges was great, and word around here seems to be that that holds for Seven Psychopaths as well.
