Dude you don't even know. Every time I take the print out I remember how awesome it is and how much I don't want to sell it. I really need the money though. I think I just need to switch over and buy only Moss and Ansin prints from now on. Doesn't really help though seeing how expensive most of their prints are in the after market.

Did you return your Master print?

edit: woot. new page. Always love when I'm able to do that.

I did. At first he was going to give me a refund but then he told me he had some of the other print from the film signed by Paul Thomas Anderson....I couldn't really say no to that could I?

That's pretty nice for what looks like a pretty crappy movie.

I hadn't heard of Rise of the Guardians until I saw that poster. Movie actually looks pretty good and now I'm tempted to buy again.

Moon Limited Edition Signed & Numbered Lithograph

Moon, one of the best science fiction films of the last decade, follows astronaut Sam Bell and his robot companion, GERTY, on a solitary mining expedition on the moon. Since its release in 2009, Moon has garnered a cult following, and Dark Horse Comics is incredibly proud to offer fans a beautiful print of what has become a modern classic in poster design.

This 27 x 38 inch collector-quality fine-art piece is presented on acid-free premium paper and packaged in a wide-mouth, sturdy poster tube. This lithograph is signed and numbered by filmmaker Duncan Jones and limited to 100 copies.

I want one of these so bad, but I can't afford it right now. I never knew that this was never released for purchase officially. They also have an unsigned version available as well.

I've had that blog post open since they announced it.. Keep going back and forth.

I want it a bunch because it is signed by jones. But I REALLY want the Ansin version... but it is even more expensive!!

UGH.

Buy the Ansin version and then hunt down Jones and have him sign it. Hell, he seems like a really cool dude. You could probably get a hold of him and mail him the poster and have him sign it and send it back. My only worry with this poster is that he would sign it smack dab in the middle of the circle. I'd hope he sign it with a silver sharpie at the bottom.

They are similar. It's funny out of the artists who did prints for the movie, only Kevin Tong went for something different.

Surprisingly I think the one sheet is the best out of all 4.

I like the metallics/glow on ansins, and the type at the bottom. Otherwise the standard poster is my favorite.

Mondo is doing a flat file sale tomorrow starting at noon. I'm gonna be at the UT game from at least 11:00-2:30 or so unfortunately (in this case). Will try and swing by afterwards and see what's what. Still absolutely gutted I missed Mononoke by 2 people during their sale during Fantastic Fest. :(

I'm very happy to be able to say I got my first ever commissioned piece in on Saturday!

Here are the details:

To be a Water Dancer by Dave Perillo

20"x10" giclee -- with printing done by the fine folks over at Giclee Today.
Signed/Lettered A~G/Inscribed. Each print has a unique inscription from the series. Copy A has a direwolf sketch. Dave owns copy D.

Here are some photos. Unfortunately my cruddy cam can't capture how absolutely vibrant the colors are. The printing quality is way up there -- comparable to Tom Whalen's Beaty and the Beast Print (they also printed that for him). If any one is ever in need of prinitng services -- I highly recommend them --- http://www.gicleetoday.com/

I absolutely love this piece and am extremely happy with the final product. I couldn't obtain my most wanted piece (Twilight Zone ABC) so I created my own holy grail :)

The handbills that I gave out a month a so ago were all alternate takes from some of the panels here. Also, big apologies to the winners as I've yet to mail them out  Will do so soon! I promise!

A bit about the piece. I decided to make it an edition of seven due to the significance of the number in the series. Seven kingdoms, the faith of the seven, the trial of seven, and seven books in the series. Originally it was supposed to be a six-color screen print but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to make it a giclee. With that said, the quality of the print is so rich, and so I'm extremely happy with how the end product came out. Also, I decided to make the prints lettered editions to follow along with how limited edition books are (with there being rarer lettered editions of A~Z or A~ZZ).

I finally got my Mark Englert Doctor Who poster, and I don't know whether I should keep it or resell it to get some money back. It looks so nice, but I don't have wallspace...

Does anyone know if it's possible to cancel or get a refund on a preorder from Rhy Cooper? I'm just sick of waiting for the GoT print set that he took money for back in April, and still has yet to ship them out. Since I've kinda stocked up on prints and wallspace is really mostly gone so frankly I just don't want those prints anymore. Their site has zilch for info so probably going to mail them to see whats up and if I can just get a cancel on it and refund, otherwise I'm stuck waiting for god knows how long just to try and flip em.

It's annoying how long ago he sold these prints and since then hes revealed and shipped a ton of other prints already yet nothing on the GoT set.

* Edit: Looks like Cooper is going to give out refund to me. Says he also was upset with the incredible delays out of his control and is sorry. Class act!

Do poster artists have to get permission to put these up for sale? I'd kinda like to try my hand at selling some of my things but I don't want to get in trouble. :p
