Gosh, Judith is one of my favorites. I love the carefree tone of her voice.

yes, and yes.

Blue Dragon is good for DQ and FF fans, but Vesperia is better suited for someone new to JRPGs.

I seem to remember those enemy types hovering around a area on the world map I couldn't enter yet, but I can't remember where for the life of me. And it's not listed under the areas with Red Lenses.

I dunno if you spotted it or not, but there's a ladder that's really tough to see, I was confused and wandering around for almost an hour without a clue what to do until I finally saw the ladder on the northern part. From there everything opens up.:lol

Yeah, I'm sorry, but Yuri's voice acting automatically raises the game's level. The way the actor captures the emotions of the scene is outstanding. From nonchalant to caring to angry to confident, perfect portrayal.

I had a mean streak one time similar to yours and got 700,000 chips. All the items in the casino shop were mine in one fell swoop.

I got like 940,000 chips in one hand wanted to push it to the next level put the card was a 7 so i just took the 940,000 hand and ran with it.

Got 600 grade in about 15 minutes. Is that about the best speed you can do it in or are there further optimisations that can be made?

I was in the desert and got two of the floating rock type things and one of the bats. About 10 enemies in one fight so recharging to OVL3 everytime was a breeze. 640 hits / 67 FS chain was about the highest I could get.

Have you tried the Rita farm grade trick? I've managed to get 1400+ GP with a 2000+ hits/ 250 FS chain in about 15 minutes with only two blue dice. I think I can eek a bit more if I optimize Rita just a bit more.

I just bought the 1 TP cost thing with my chips, so that + minimum damage helps, but I think I need something else because even if I hit it as fast as I can in overlimit the combo keeps resetting. What skill for her makes that possible?

Speed Cast, your other party members should have Taunt, and there's something else but I'm at work so I can't remember. But at that point you should be able to use at least OVL 2 every time considering how fast you will be racking up hits and filling up your gauge.

I am doing the Rita farm trick. As I said later, I got it up to about 1200 in the same amount of time. I can't get anywhere near 2000+ hits though, I keep getting reset around 400-600. I don't know what the issue is - maybe it would help if I had characters who actually helped keep the chain going lol.

In the skill screen, you see the icon at the top that changes depending on what skills you have turned on? You can get this skill symbol to turn into something like "clocks" (I only know the japanese name, sorry), byt turning on just enough in each category to change the icon, i.e. a perfect spread of skills. This symbol means the OVL time lasts longer.

Other skills I used (again, sorry I only know the Japanese names): Limiter, Spell End, End Lucky, Limit Bonus 2.

I'm up to 10m in casino chips after two hours. It quickly got to the point where I'd double down on any hand below a 50k. Then again it's pointless cuz there's nothing fun to blow that many chips on.

I found it easier to get those long chains if the enemies are closer to you so that they get hit by your OVL burst every time you activate it.

BTW, I think my favorite spell for out of nowhere multiplying how much damage you're doing to a group is Angel Ring. I'll just be wailing away on one guy, then suddenly POOF I'm hitting them all. Although I keep thinking Estelle says "Anal ring" when she casts it.

If anyone wants to up their Grade even more when doing the farming trick, I suggest starting off with Thunder Blade before going into Tidal Wave Spam Mode. Thunder Blade will throw all (or at least most) of the enemies into the air, and Tidal Wave will keep them there, netting you huge "juggled staggered enemies" bonuses.
