Sigh, why must Gametrailers be such dicks sometimes :loljj984jj said:You know I always listen to GT reviews because they always spoil the game for you, I heard the final boss is in that video review so watch it at your own risk.
In game trailers defense, the last boss IS pretty hilariously stereotypical. I called him as the last boss the first time I saw him, just from his design.grandjedi6 said:Sigh, why must Gametrailers be such dicks sometimes :lol

Drinky Crow said:the english VA for yuri deserves some serious points for his work. i am completely jaded to shitty voice direction, yet he manages to take an occasionally wonky localization and make it sound completely natural. actually, the voice director for this game deserves a raise.

They're near the guild town in the field.Nose Master said:So, when can I farm Red Lenses again? I want Karol's god damn bag, but the only two instances of the enemies listed are in temporary/expired dungeons. I seem to remember those enemy types hovering around a area on the world map I couldn't enter yet, but I can't remember where for the life of me. And it's not listed under the areas with Red Lenses.

Just got tossed to a port city after the giant battle ship thing almost destroyed the capital. Have to go cross some ice pack up north or something now.
Thanks, loving the game.
If you do the Cow Boy sidequest, he calls Rita Flatty McChesterton all the time.Brandon F said:Kudos to the Tales team...30+ hours of play so far and I've only witnessed one(1) single small breasted joke! I just spent the last three hours grinding out Rita's Altered Artes. I suspect mine was less fun. :lolPapercuts said:I just spent 3 hours doing absolutely nothing but farm for chips, I love when you double your bet and it goes Ace -> 2 -> King, etc. I won nearly 50000 in one hand. :lol
I had a mean streak one time similar to yours and got 700,000 chips. All the items in the casino shop were mine in one fell swoop.Papercuts said:I just spent 3 hours doing absolutely nothing but farm for chips, I love when you double your bet and it goes Ace -> 2 -> King, etc. I won nearly 50000 in one hand. :lol
Have you tried the Rita farm grade trick? I've managed to get 1400+ GP with a 2000+ hits/ 250 FS chain in about 15 minutes with only two blue dice. I think I can eek a bit more if I optimize Rita just a bit more.Jonnyram said:Got 600 grade in about 15 minutes. Is that about the best speed you can do it in or are there further optimisations that can be made?
I was in the desert and got two of the floating rock type things and one of the bats. About 10 enemies in one fight so recharging to OVL3 everytime was a breeze. 640 hits / 67 FS chain was about the highest I could get.

Papercuts said:I just bought the 1 TP cost thing with my chips, so that + minimum damage helps, but I think I need something else because even if I hit it as fast as I can in overlimit the combo keeps resetting. What skill for her makes that possible?

Speed Cast, your other party members should have Taunt, and there's something else but I'm at work so I can't remember. But at that point you should be able to use at least OVL 2 every time considering how fast you will be racking up hits and filling up your gauge.Papercuts said:I just bought the 1 TP cost thing with my chips, so that + minimum damage helps, but I think I need something else because even if I hit it as fast as I can in overlimit the combo keeps resetting. I am doing the Rita farm trick. As I said later, I got it up to about 1200 in the same amount of time. I can't get anywhere near 2000+ hits though, I keep getting reset around 400-600. I don't know what the issue is - maybe it would help if I had characters who actually helped keep the chain going lol.donkey show said:Have you tried the Rita farm grade trick? In the skill screen, you see the icon at the top that changes depending on what skills you have turned on? You can get this skill symbol to turn into something like "clocks" (I only know the japanese name, sorry), byt turning on just enough in each category to change the icon, i.e. a perfect spread of skills. This symbol means the OVL time lasts longer.Papercuts said:I just bought the 1 TP cost thing with my chips, so that + minimum damage helps, but I think I need something else because even if I hit it as fast as I can in overlimit the combo keeps resetting.
