Checkpoint Gaming - Charlie Kelly - 9 / 10
The Talos Principle: Reawakened is an already incredible game made more amazing thanks to meaningful quality of life additions, stellar graphical remastering and insightful new content in the new campaign and developer commentaries. It's beautiful, tranquil and pensive. Filled with philosophical platitudes, brain-wrinkling puzzles and sheer tranquil vibes in all the environments, Croteam have masterfully reworked their beloved puzzle game to be as quintessential as ever.

Gameffine - Farzeen K H - 90 / 100
The Talos Principle: Reawakened is everything I wanted in a remake. It respects the original while making smart improvements that enhance the experience. The puzzles are just as engaging, the story remains as thought-provoking as ever, and the graphical upgrades make an already beautiful game even more breathtaking. If you’ve never played The Talos Principle before, this is the perfect way to experience it for the first time. And if, like me, you spent hours in the original game pondering its puzzles and philosophy, The Talos Principle: Reawakened gives you a fantastic excuse to dive back in.

Gamer Escape - Eliot Lefebvre - 9 / 10
The Talos Principle: Reawakened is a great chance for people like me who skipped out on the original to get a look at the game for the first time, and for fans of the original to have a good reason to re-explore the game along with seeking out new mysteries. It is a calm, serene experience of puzzle-solving that will also twist your brain along the way. And I quite enjoyed it, and just like the original? Yeah, it’s an excellent game almost everyone will enjoy.

Loot Level Chill - Lyle Pendle - 8.5 / 10
The Talos Principle Reawakened is a spectacular puzzle game, and this remake adds a bunch of content, new features and gorgeous visuals.

The Nerd Stash - Nat Collazo - 8 / 10
The Talos Principle: Reawakened is a thoughtful fusion of striking visuals and unique puzzles that, despite some minor discomfort and repetition, still delivers a memorable journey driven by curiosity and discovery.

TheSixthAxis - Steve C - 9 / 10
The Talos Principle Reawakened isn't just a fancy remaster with tarted up graphics, it truly is the definitive edition of one of the greatest puzzle games of all time and is a must play for any fans of the genre, or indeed any fans of quality gaming in general. The new additions are welcome, with the editor mode being particularly exciting. While you may not ever find out your true purpose, playing The Talos Principle should become part of your journey.

XboxEra - Genghis Husameddin - 8.7 / 10
The Talos Principle: Reawakened is a fantastic remaster of an already great game. The other two campaigns, “Road to Gehenna” and the new “In the Beginning”, offer additional puzzles that will really wrack your brain on top of being able to hear more from Elohim’s architect and the mother of all that came after.

Bought it on Steam last night. $23.99 because I already owned first game. A bit much I think but I payed it.
It's been years since I played the original. I loved the 2nd game so much I wanted to buy this remake.
I'm going to play through slowly with a level every now and then on days when I feel like it. I have the commentary turned on and the graphics cranked to max. With Raytracing and Ultra settings my RTX4070 will need to have frame gen enabled to keep 60FPS. OR I will need to lower the graphic settings a smidge. Frame gen is always a sad compromise with image quality.
I don't remember if the original game had the rewind feature but it makes mistakes much nicer to correct rather than starting a puzzle all over.

been playing it as well - enjoying it tremendously - I was wondering how much better the graphical upgrade was - I play most games at 3440 x 1440 (UWQHD) on PC

I reinstalled the original and ran around for a bit after playing an hour or two of the new version - the difference is so much more than I remember - the game looks great and it has been long enough since the original that I don't remember the solutions.

- I don't remember the first couple of hours being this easy though - I know from reading it gets much more difficult but I'm feeling really smart right now - can't often say that.

How is the dev commentary ?
Lots of them, you have to find throughout the levels. Some even way outside the main areas. Various developers talking about all areas of the timeline, going way back to when they were working on Serious Sam and just thinking about mechanics of what would become Talos.
Some of talking points go far so long I was able to complete 2 puzzles and needing to remember to go back into older puzzle rooms to start a commentary inside the puzzle, :)
It's dry but interesting stuff.
