Everyone who has ever seen GSP fight knew this was happening.
He paces himself to last five rounds, and doesn't commit to anything so he can easily change levels for takedowns.

I think what is frustrating is that GSP used to be an entertaining fighter. Then Matt Serra happened. It's clearly affected him as a fighter. Look at the Condit fight. That kick scared the shit out of him and he went back in his shell.

Well he has really mashed up dudes faces in the past with jabs, see Josh Koscheck for example, but he doesn't put a lot on them though because he is generally just using his punches to set up the takedown.
He used to try to finish guys. That was years and years ago, though.

Anderson straight up trolls people in the ring, GSP just humps them.
Maybe because he is the best overall fighter in the UFC? Can't wait for the eventual silva / GSP fight so he can finally shut everyone who still doubts him up.
