Ryan is not nearly that good and I think F1 is too specialist an endeavor for a NASCAR driver.

The US just doesn't have any good prospects at the moment. I think the best one we've had recently was Jonathan Summerton and he lacked the financial backing to continue towards F1. Hell, he could barely stay afloat racing in the States.

There's guys in NASCAR that could do it have done it in their prime (Smoke, Gordon, Kyle Busch if he could control his temper) but NASCAR is now seen as the top series in the US and where all the money is, so they're not willing to give anything else a shot.

Just been for a racing simulator experience at Puretech Racing, 15min Qualifying and 15 min race.

Motion simulation, left foot braking, and flappy paddles, awesome fun for anyone who has one near them. Thought it was a good start to the weekend!

Managed to improve my lap time between the race an qualy by 1.7secs, best 3 sectors were 3.3 secs off the best lap they have had on that track. Grinning from ear to ear right now.
