Do we finally have info what the different difficulty levels actually do?

so..the missing files that will be released on midnight are very small right?
i fear for the gog servers and my shitty connection
Has anyone ordered this from Playasia? wondering when they will plan to ship out hte product
Has anyone defeated (Minor Contract Spoiler)yet? Stupid bleed effect. The Shreiker
Just beat it on Death March.
I'm happy with the game but not super happy yet, especially because there's too many question marks on the map that destroy almost completely the sense of esploration.
Turn them off.
I am downloading a patch on PS4. Is that the same 1.01?.. I had already downloaded and installed it.
Any items that will nullify bleed? It's not particularly hard outside of that!
Not sure, I'm sure there are in Alchemy, but I was just very patient with it. Just like the griffin, always have Quen on just in case...when it attacks you, just dodge normally. When it tries to jump on you, roll out of the way instead of dodging. Anytime it's in the air and coming to you, shoot a cross bow at it to knock it down for a good 2-3 strong hits (this is a gamble though). Took me about 3 minutes but was a good fun fight.
Nothing for me, still on 1.01. Though there was DriveClub patch .
The first thing I did. But you can only disable the "magic trail" and not the destination and not all these question marks (interesting points).
Just managed to beat it, cheers though!Keep my guard up and as long as I did, it's bleed effect didn't kick in. As soon as it swung and missed I used Aard to stun it and got a couple of hits in. Just had to be patient!
You can toggle them on and off on the map, but I don´t know if it also removes them from the minimap.
I only realised now that the eyes in the last image of the OT is the GAF logol, lol.
Nice OT OP, best I've seen this year so far.
Same!Wooo, my copy has been dispatched from Amazon.
Same!Can't wait.

Edit: Some question marks position is reaveled trough lore (reading books, talking with NPC) and i'm ok with this, but I have the impression others were there from the beginning... hope the game became a little bit more bastard in this regard
So the website were I purchased W3 sent me the code... But for GOG.
It said on the page it was Steam. But they have removed the page and their support says you can't refund downloadable products. So basically I got nothing. I really don't want to download another application, and make another account on top of everything I already have. Goddammit.

So there are things that are exclusive if you use a PC save opposed to just answering the questions? I lost mine when my computer died about six months ago and I'm not sure if I backed it up. I hope it's nothing big then, I didn't get the tattoo anyways.
Sounds like you probably bought it from a grey market site. Nobody has had Steam keys for W3, it's just Steam itself.
GOG is DRM free so you can just download the game without needing the client if you want, though that won't make patching it very easy.
Is there yet any consensus regarding how the various difficulty settings compare? I know I'll be playing on at least hard (which I know isn't called that), as I'm sure normal would feel too easy based on what I've heard, but I'm wondering if perhaps I should even go with very hard? How much more difficult is it, and in what way? Are there other differences beyond just combat difficulty? You lose the same "handholdy" stuff on both, right? I've beaten both Demon's Souls and Dark Souls (and soon Bloodborne), so I'm not afraid of challenging combat, but at the same time I don't think I would want quite that level of constantly getting my ass kicked in a story-focused RPG like this. But I'm guessing even very hard in TW3 is quite a bit below Souls difficulty, right...?

Could always trade with another GAF member, I'm sure someone would be up for it.
I'm going to bed and when I wake I will be able to play this at last. The wait has been excrutiating but I am no less excited than I was a month ago and I've been counting the days. It's hard to believe it's almost finally here!
I'm starting on the hardest setting and if I find it overly difficult then I'll reduce it mid way. Best way to figure out a difficulty IMO.
