- Use your Witcher Senses to find the screen.

"Hmm. Seems someone threw a mouse at this screen."

- Use your Witcher Senses to follow the trail of broken monitor shards.

"Hmm. Here's a mouse. Must've been what broke the screen."

- Use your Witcher Senses to identify the correct USB port to plug the mouse in.

Haha well played. I am not a fan of the senses stuff myself, so generally I'll look for the thing I need to find on my own and then quickly activate the senses to be able to examine it.

my biggest complaint about this whole game is that your beard should grow longer
Patch/mod request list :
- Longer beard options, with more styles available.
- Hair growing naturally, with more styles available.
- Seasons.
- DX 12.
- More Gwent, a lot more, and a standalone Gwent app.
- A new dedicated Princess questline, to make sure the game is GOAT.
- An actual working camera for fist fights.

EE could be the best game ever.

I'm 20 hours deep and have completed all of Keira's main & side quest. Damn, that was awesome all the way through.
It's a shame that the villager dude had to die in order to lift the curse on the island lay his lover's soul to rest. But, this world is harsh and you're always picking the lesser or of two evils
. In the end with Keira, I
didnt have sex with her and sent her to the mountain castle to hang out with Vesimir. Not sure how bad that research I let her keep will be, but I didn't really understand it to begin with. Was it a "longer life" potion
?

I can't believe I had so much trouble with the
A Walk on the Waterfront
side quest in Novigrad.

The prick could barely defend himself and died in like 3 hits. I hate escort missions.

So, I tried to get better gear
and managed to complete the Griffin scavenger quest... but the silver sword spec is so awful that I might as well wait for level 12 or 13 so I can use the other two recipes i already have.

Man, the Bloody Baron - (a lot of spoilers, so really, don't read if you have't completely wrapped up all Baron quests)
the Bloody Baron's family. Wife ended up dying, he did what he did, and the forest spirit is on the rampage. No winners in this one.

I am a sucker for buddy cop movies and loved the witcher, witch-hunter team up between Geralt and Graden. I think it's also cool how Tamara ended up a witch-hunter.

But boy, the "fiend" enemy and encounter. Probably one of the worst battle and general enemy designs I've seen in a game. At least one can just stand back and let the NPC's do the work

Bloody Baron spoilers
the fiend got stuck by one of the huts somehow, so I went around the back and started hacking away at it. Didn't even take one hit.

Man I just want them to patch in an option to turn of camera auto centring.

So is all the DLC that comes with this game free? even the expansions or nah?

No. Expansion suff is paid, but it looks set to justify the cost.

The free stuff is little cosmetic addictions, items and gear, small additional quest lines.

The way they're approaching support for this game is very encouraging.

I really want a Witcher 4 even though this is suppose to be the final in the trilogy T__T

Want Projkect Red to at least consider it as they develop that CyberPunk game

Can someone give me a hint on where to start looking for enhanced feline armor and weapons? I have the quests for enhanced griffon and ursine but I cannot find the enhanced feline set. If someone could give me the general area of where to begin looking that would be great.

So, about this alternative Yen look. Will just installing the DLC change how she looks? Don't think I'd want that. Have barely even seen her in my adventure yet!

I have a question about a sidequest. I've been doing the quest Redania's Most Wanted.
I got the crystal for the mega scope, and Geralt mentioned that Triss would be interested in it, but I think she's in kaer morhen in my game, and I can't go there. So I went and talked to Radovid, and didn't tell him about the crystal, which led to the quest being completed. Does this mean that this questline involving Philippa Eilhart is just done now?
Or will I be able to later on continue it, even though the quest has been completed?

AFAIK they haven't ruled out additional games in the universe. This is just the final game for Geralt.

It continues later

I wonder if they are going to patch in a way to turn off the HUD quickly for screenshots (I know you can turn everything off manually)

If there already is a better way I don't know what it is

Man, this game is great in terms of atmosphere. I just finished up replaying The Witcher 2 and I'm just stating off in White Orchard and the atmosphere is just incredible.

The semi-open world structure with actual quests and NPCs to talk to and the weather and all those dynamic systems really make the world feel like a living, breathing place. This is basically what I wanted out of something like Dragon Age: Inquisition. This just really highlights how a good story driven open world should be structured, not the MMO themepark design of Inquisition.

Game looks great on my 970 with my Acer 1440p Gsync monitor. Seems to fluctuate between 30 and 60 FPS with a mix of high and ultra at 1440p. Its a shame Hairworks is a such a performance hog though.

They've said it's the final chapter of the trilogy they originally set out to create, but not the end of the Witcher series.

Is there a making-of video for this game? I can't imagine how they made such a finely crafted game in threw years. it's the first game where it kind of amazes me.

Sometimes I suddenly can't attack, only parry and dodge. No sword attacks and no signs. Is this on purpose (e.g. too high levelled enemies perhaps?) or a common glitch?

And how do AMD GPU users experience the recent 1.04 update? I've heard some bad thing about it....

Otherwise I'm having a great time!

Broke the 1 day playtime barrier today (I've been keeping a close eye on it, so I know it's more or less accurate), and I only just completed the quest where you're
down in the Elven ruins with Keira
. Have only seen the middle section of the map yet, and really only stripes of that. I've only quickly visited Oxenfurt, haven't even caught a glimpse of Novigrad. And then there's Skellige. Sooo much stuff to do!

Ok cool.

Is it a bug that the quest log gave me the ending then? It explained it as if I had experienced it, but I haven't.

I visited
her after a few days, and she was taken by the soldiers. Is there a quest that explains what happens to her later?
You can totally spoil that for me.
I don't know if it's a bug or not. But it's more or less a side not. When you visit the Niilfgardian camp in the southeast of Velen a soldier talks to you. He was the lover of the women and took her away to care for her. But she is just vegetable right now and he is unsure if he should thank or curse you. There is no further quest, Geralt states outright, that he can't do anything for her anymore.

Oh the price of Witcher positions for normal humans :,(

so when you're on a quest and you have two objectives, one white and one greyed out

does this mean the greyed out one is optional and won't move the white one forward?

hope im makin myself clear

CD Projekt Red said that this isn't final Witcher game, it's just the last game that focuses on Geralt as the main character.

Any future Witcher titles will likely have a new lead.

---------------------------------------------------------

I also can see the benefit of having a static character as the main role to a game, I mean for story focus purposes the are allowed to specifically tailor the personality and character relationships to be much more interwoven and complex.

The Elder Scrolls series while it does have create-a-character, There are other games that prove you still give them an identity while still being the individual you control. Take example of Saints Row, Dragon Age, and by extension Mass Effect.

All three of these games have features to create your own characters appearance and likeness but still are fully voiced with a preset personality. I don't think Elderscrolls would have much to lose if they gave the main a bit more personality and an actual voice during conversions and quest dialog choices.

I mean as it is thus far, the main in each Elder Scrolls title wasn't much more in depth then what you see out of Link, Crono, or even the hero of any Dragon Quest title.

TL:DR: Bethesda better start taking notes from CD Projekt Red for their next Elder Scrolls game to have a good story focus without having a faceless personality.

It just means there's two leads to pursue for the quest. With KB&M you can switch tracking between them by pressing 'V," not sure for controllers.

Ghosts of the Past has broken on me.
Letho and I have reached Lindenvale, and the objective says follow Letho around. But he's just standing in place, no matter what.

Optional objectives are marked optional. Multiple objectives just mean you can do multiple things. Click the right stick to cycle which of these objectives to highlight.

With a controller, you can change what you're tracking in the quest menu. You might even be able to click the right stick to do the same but I don't have a way of testing at the moment.

It's your amulett sensing magic, isn't it?

It also happens when your shield (quen?) runs out.

The amulet seems to vibrate when it shouldn't, though. Finding a hidden treasure chest, footsteps, signs of battle, etc. doesn't have anything to do with magic but it often vibrates anyway. Better for gameplay purposes I guess.

I haven't found the swimming mechanics to be as bad as some people. Until now.

Trying to search some underwater ruins for loot and I finally fucking died because I got stuck between some brick walls and couldn't get the fucking guy to control right. He was just rolling around underwater.
