I'm having a major issue with this game : everything is so small and too far away. The world is FILLED with details but the camera is so far from geralt that I can't see shit. It's just a huge cluttered mess. When the camera pans very close in cutscene I can admire the character models and details but playing, my eyes are bleeding at everything...
Also, text and interface is so fucking damn small. I can't read shit
Is there a way to pause cutscenes in the PC Version of the game? (a workaround would be fine either)
I have to take care of my little daughter when she wakes up in the evening/night which can happen quite frequently. I had to leave my pc quick yesterday when. I was quite surprised to say the least. Have to start over tonight.Ciri jumped over the wall and came back and only saw her head flying
Shit, they give you 100 in this game?! That item would've netted you about 17 orens in Witcher 2.Yeah weapon degradation is really bad in this, as is the armour. Seems every quest I'm having to go back to the blacksmith to fix my shit. Again, the amount you get from some of the gear seems really poor too, item worth 900 orens? I'll give you 100.
Do you have it on steam? When you go into steam overlay it pauses the game.Is there a way to pause cutscenes in the PC Version of the game? (a workaround would be fine either)

You get XP primarily from completing quests. Just killing monsters in the wild won't level you IIRC
So how's the game running on PS4 after the day one patch??
Having never played the witcher series, should I simulate the witcher 2 save or should I set it to off?
Any confirmation on this? I could have sworn an in-game tutorial message said you get XP from killing monsters... Am I imagining that?

Ignore the people saying the XBO version is bad. If you like it, you like it and that's all that matters in the end
man the movement feels so clunky and delayed. didnt remember witcher 2 being like this.

If youre playing on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One and want to make sure choices youve made in The Witcher 2 carry over to the new game, you will want to choose to simulate. This will cue the scene (which takes place after the prologue) and an NPC will ask you about your past.
If you want to go in clean, or as CD Projekt intended, as some players believe, you will need to not select the simulate option.
Saw this:
You get XP from filling the bestiary, but not from actually killing the monsters.
Gear repair is way to expensive, is it worth ir?
So guys, medium or hard?

Do some of these people talking give any more insight to things you have to do? i felt they were more about atmosphere than anything, with them commenting on you or whatever.
If they have useful info they spout, then maybe i'll keep them.

You should be looting repair kits off of humans. I've got about 4 of them early on and my sword hasn't even broken yet.
If you've played W2, hard. Plus it makes the leveling/preparation element of combat matter.
Wait what?
Well if they keep giving the option for Geralt to be a goodie I think you may get your wish.I love having no gold. I hope it stays like this for the rest of the game. Actually gives you a reason to do quests.
