Do you ever get to actually be in V
izima? Or just the palace? I was pumped about going through to see how close it was to the design in the original game, while looking WAY better.

Also, in White Orchard, i completed the quest for the Viper School, yet I only see two sword diagrams. Isn't there supposed to be armor too?

Is the +70 inventory space (130 total) the biggest saddlebag? If there's a bigger one, can I get it outside Skellige? The weight limit kind of sucks. Looked everywhere for a bigger one, but I can't find any.

If you remember where the
king of beggars
is, there's a merchant in there that sells one that adds +100. They also sell it somewhere in
the islands

Just swords for the viper

i keep getting all these magical items that are required for quests and geralt keeps saying
i wish triss was here to have a look at em
. can i
take em to yennifer instead
? in my game
triss is at kaer morhen
.

hey guys. about to start this game after playing through witcher 2 again.

question about save game importing. how do you know which save to use for your import?

by that i mean, does the Witcher 2 give you a post game save? I'm seeing 270 autosaves in my folder, and i'm guessing i should just pick the last one. but would like to know for sure.

Hopefully Iorveth and Saskia show up there. Since they aren't in the game at all as far as I know.

yeah here's hoping we see Iorveth in the expansions. Despite choosing to import the save file in which I chose Vernon since I consider that my canon path. I like Iorveth a lot as well. His absense on TW3 was a major letdown.

If they're the statuettes then no, you have to wait for Triss to show up again, after Kaer Morhen, if it's the crystal then you can show it to Yen.

During the Get Junior quest, there's a mini objective to play cards in the casino but I uh...skipped past that. Does that affect collecting all the Gwent cards or are there no unique cards there?

I skipped it too and got all the cards, so you're good.

Putrid Grove merchant sells one that takes you up to 160.

Hmm, even though I believe I've been to every village in Velen and Novigrad, I see no marker for Putrid Grove, and I've wandered around most of Novigrad with no luck either. Any directions for either? Thanks.

The last autosave should be the game's last cut-scene. Use that one.

Ugh, this bug where Geralt looks wet all the time.....

Well, maybe dogs, Ghouls and Wraiths won't be able to catch a greasy ass Witcher slipping and sliding all over the place.

It's the secluded section where you meet
the King of Beggars.
The merchant nearby the entrance sells them.

The graphics are not even close to DAI or Bloodborne quality.

Having just finished Bloodborne- it's like playing on an old system versus new.
Wait what? Only thing superior about bloodborne visually is art design IMO. Cant comment on DAI as I havent played it.

Hey folks, I've not played this but I've seen a few clips of character actions and I just want to ask - do the characters always look wet/sweaty?

No idea why people are complaining about how lite/repetitive the question mark stuff is. You could remove it all and the game would still be massive and full of content. The ?'s are just to pad out the world, give it some life. I've put 60hrs into W3, I'm about halfway through Act 2, and I still have over 80 ?'s in Velen. I turned them off on the map and just do them as I come across them and they're perfectly fine.

If you think they're the same as Ubisoft markers it's because you're treating them that way.

I kept thinking everyone was misspelling Ciri as Cerys and was really weirded out. Forgot that was how you spelled the other woman's name, lol.

No, unless they were just swimming or outside in the rain. I guess there is a bug where characters might look wet when they shouldn't but I didn't encounter it.

I have a confession to make...until yesterday I didn't even realise I could level up each individual attack and sign upgrade, up to five times. I just glanced at it and assumed I had to work down the chain. Level 10, broken bones difficulty, and all this time I've been playing with barely an upgraded character lol.

So now I've got Quick attack up to 5, Heavy to 4, upgraded Axii and Quen, and now the game is suddenly easy lol. All this time I've been playing the game Bloodborne style, but there was never really any need. Whoops...

Literally no one has been saying that. It's been known since the first day that it doesn't work properly, and as of the last patch, it may not work at all for any platform. Don't do it. It's not how the system is meant to be used.

I have it and I really like it as well. The problem is that the Superior and Mastercraft armor look meh in comparison.

Ahh ok thanks. Guess I gotta get rid of bunch of stuff somehow.

I was told points of interest only appear on the map after you've read about them or whatever. How does that work? The question marks don't just automatically appear on the map at the beginning do they?

Read the notice boards. That's one way.

Skellige sidequest question.
Was getting ursine diagrams and I found a place of power and totem pole with a lootable trial of dexterity token. What's it for?

Just finished the game. That was great.

Got the ending
where Geralt makes Ciri into a proper Witcher and continues to do witchery things. Felt good. Djikstra leading Redania was a good outcome too, imo, dude is the best thing that could happen to the Northern Kingdoms.

What the game really should have done is flesh out the Wild Hunt. They pointlessly changed Eredin into an evil usurper to the throne, might have gone all the way and characterized the Hunt in a manner that would have gone beyond the novels.

Go to the
King of Beggars
hideout in Novigrad. Once inside you'll find a merchant to the left of the entrance that sells a saddlebag that increases your weight limit to 160. I believe it cost close to 900 coins, but it's well worth the investment.

No. Reading notice boards definitely populates the map with a ton of "?". The notices on the board don't really correspond to the "?" though, most of them are just flavor text that gives you an idea of whats going on in the village. If you visit enough notice boards you'll have an overwhelming number of them on the map. Its hard to say what else triggers them since the game doesn't give you any notice that they've been added to the map. For instance, I was in a town and a random guy told me about some old Elvan ruins infested with monsters. It wasn't a quest added to log, so its possible it became a "?"

If you're afraid the "?" will sour the experience you can turn them off. Sounds like its the preferred way of playing for many people here.

Calling all PC players that are using DS4Windows: How do you map the "map" button onto the touch screen so I can just click the touchscreen to instantly get to the map? I know you can do it but got no idea how to work the program!

I really hate the slow healing in this game. The regeneration pace is too slow.

Sure, there are potions that can haste the proces, but why doesn't an item instantly add to your health bar instead of slow regen. Annoying.
