Okay can someone tell me what you are supposed to do when you see something lit up like to interact with and there's a swirly circle icon with like sunbeams around it?

Can you tell me in what way, I finished that quest quite a bit ago and I've heard that you can but I don't know how.
Not sure how I missed it.

Same way you did during the quest - when exploring the world you'll sometimes see the faint silhouette of a ghost/distorsion of view/hear a voice/see the lamp symbol on the minimap. When that happens you can equip the lamp and take it out like you did in the tower to actually see the ghost.

I think those are illusions, you get an item during the main quest to dispel them.

I understand you are not supposed to do all the quests in the game, but the Lv requirements should be changed.. between stelline and no man's land there are too many quests with the same level requirements... so if you do the quests in one zone you are automatically over leveled for the same quests in the other...

the biggest problem in my opinion is that the game lets you think you should head to skellige at level 16, this makes sense because you can only get there via a quest with level 16 enemies.
however, on skellige there are many queste below lebel 16, I think 12 was the lowest I found. apart from the quests there are many enemies (and question mark missions) even below level 10. this simply doesn't make sense to me.

Sadly getting hit by the XP bug quite often. I'm gonna have to stop playing cause I've already lost some XP and I can't keep losing more and more. I figure what I've already lost won't be too bad because I'm playing on normal and it's pretty easy anyway.

Disappointing, hope they fix it soon.

I agree. You would expect Skellige quests, missions and side stuff to be 16 and upwards. Wonder if there's a way for CDPR to change that...

Ok I got it, thank you!

Something really fucking weird just happened in the middle of the Get Junior quest.

I went into the room to confront Whoreson Junior and as the cutscene started to play this weird voice over started to play in another language, not sure if it was Polish or what, that completely drowned out the actual in game dialogue. After about 30 seconds it stopped playing.

There's a level 13 quest in Novigrad (
Black Pearl
) that requires you to go to Skellige.

Any one got pictures of all the different witcher armour at all their different levels of upgrade?

Is it a spoiler to post such things?

I'm Level 16 and I also never want this game to end, it's kind of daunting to see Skellige but it's also awesome... that area is so awesomely huge! And the MUSIC... Oh my beautiful ear drums!

The Level cap is 60 and it takes such a long time to level, even more the higher you go, I cannot imagine how I will possibly reach level 60 though I'm going to do everything in the game 100% so I'll get there eventually but damn... how do you choose which skills to activate? Especially when you've upgraded some of the first level ones... How can you choose to go with some of the higher level ones and lose some of those oh so important skills / bonuses. Ah I love the difficulty of the choices though it's just so brilliante.

I've cleared nearly all of the Velen area of "?" icons, except for a few... and I haven't necessarily greyed out some of those points because it's nigh on impossible to fight some of those high level beasts guarding some of those treasures... I did kill a level 25 earth elemental at level 12 though... took me about an hour of riding around it on Roach and hitting while riding at full speed for the most damage. On foot it would have been impossible because my damage just wasn't enough.

Anyone at level 50+ care to tell me what kind of damage they're doing? I'm level 16 and doing 800 on a hard attack critical hit which seems massive compared to what I was doing at the start... I am imagining doing 5000+ by the end of the game... one can only hope!

Just finished the Carnal Sins side-quest.

It boggles my mind how CDPR managed to create so many top quality quests. They've definitely set a new standard.

That link has all the Witcher school armors so if that is what you're talking about, feel free to check it out.

Find ciri. I've done literally everything that was level appropriate for me prior on the main lands.
dandelion, triss, contracts included

Level 19 ATM. What say you friend?

Find Ciri is pretty vague. With the information you've given you're still pretty early on. Even if you just dive headfirst in to the main story missions you've still got a ways to go.

Finally found some Witch Hunter gear and it looks awesome! Pretty good for my build too.

Also, found a boss creature in Skellige called Morvudd who didn't die when I got him to 0 HP and just angrily ran away, clarification?

yeah i did that, but you still have to do the level 16 quest
on the ship, with level 16 enemies
to get there, then
travel completely from one side of skellige to the other
to kill level 13 enemies, come on, it doesn't make sense.
now I am not opposed to exploring and find some high level enemies, that's great. but I don't like to kill low level enemies. that's probably one of my biggest problems with the game. well and the many boring water question mark missions in skellige.

He is part of a story quest, though there is a sidequest involved with him as well.

Is it just me or has the 1.03 patch made pop in and texture pop in much worse on the ps4 version?

Yeah, it seems to have gotten much worse for me as well. The game, at times, even lets me enter buildings when the textures haven't loaded all the way yet, and I can see all the characters and objects pop into place as I'm standing still for a few seconds or so.

yeah that happened to me in the place with Zoltan, whats the forum saying about this?

I have a glitch that since I've gotten to skellige there is another sword stuck to my back and whatever I do I can't get rid of it... even un-equipping everything geralt still has a sword set on his back. Is there any way that I can get rid of this?

Can anyone tell me about any quests or things that I can do that require a change of clothing as part of it? Such as the
sword training with the Nilfgaard ambassador daughter, or anything else? I was hoping the new clothes I had to wear for Yennefer would trigger something like this but alas... it did not.

Is everyone else carrying around all their trophies? I tried using the drop stuff near a fast travel post but unfortunately it all disappeared. I lost a 1000 crown skill reset potion in that stuff up. Oh well, I'm rich as F anyway, have 17000 crowns atm and I'm only going to go higher.

Regarding pop and fade in... if you're moving around places too quickly I find this happens more and more... so when I'm in Novigrad I tend to run around at normal speed (not sprint) I like to enjoy the sights and sounds anyway.

ENDING SPOILERS
yo lmao haven't actually come close to finishing the game yet, but just wondering if finding Phillipa for Radovid would affect my possible ending in the story. I'm stressing so hard about this.,

Sort of
the quest will go on the back burner until much later where it'll sort of integrate into the main plot

Hmm concerning the xp thing, it makes me wonder if you'll get screwed doing story missions to level up faster first... I have a decent amount of quests that I can't get xp from anymore, am I going to hit a lower ceiling now? Or will the game compensate for it with later missions?

Applesauce

Boom! Bitch-slapped!
I still haven't left Velen. So much to do in Velen and Novigrad, I don't want to leave. I will never finish this game.

GOTY

Thanks!

I definitely think my choice of the Cat armour suits my gameplay style and at least the second level onwards looks decent. No sleeves for the base armour... come on :(
How are you playing? I'm curious since my Cat Armor is paired with my Crit Build. Curious how other people are playing with Cat.

Yeah, I'm with you.

I really wish there was some Wolf School armor to improve on Geralt's base armor but... Sadly the Bear is the greatest.

I really hope they can patch the load times on the PS4.

For a laugh today I timed one of my loading screens from death, it took approx 1 minute 10 seconds to reload the game.

Bloodborne loading was quicker than this game and it was getting bashed everywhere!

Do you count artwork with narrator as part of load times?

Loading time on PC was non existent after the artwork. I can skip artwork halfway the narrator and game starts.

It took at most 3 seconds if artwork didn't appear.

Sucks I get about 5 crashes a day....
