I'm not quite sure if it works exactly the same butSo you're not consigned to thethere is another person (aka Yen) you can give that crystal to.if you did Triss sidequests first.Radovid option
Couple of questions.
1. Are there any time-sensitive side quests?
2. During thequest in Novigrad, I came upon a clothes merchant who sells masks but apparently they're quest items forlooking for DandelionIs this a quest from later in the game?some sort of masquerade.
Do youhave to have already travelled to Skellige first or will it get added once you get there? Because for me the Triss point is marked as failed and the only option left is to go to Radovid. But I haven't been to Skellige yet.

Honestly, they're both pretty bad choices. There should be an option toIf we're talking about friendly warnings for Now or Never, remember that this is Triss' personal quest. If you still haven't decided if you want to pursue Triss or Yennefer I HIGHLY recommend postponing this quest until you go to the next area and get to know Yen. There have been plenty of cases here of people doing this for Triss and then getting to know Yen and regretting already being serious with Triss.
Wasn't an issue for me and others though. Triss for life.
When do you see Triss again after the first encounter. I think she said cya later bye and there was no sidequest for later.
Oh crap I might have failed lamberts. What was it called?1. Yes. A couple. I'd suggest doing every sidequest you can before leaving an area. One that really bothered me because it failed without me realizing wasLambert's
2. Yes. Specifically it'sTriss' first personal quest

Is the early quest "Dirty Funds" glitched? It keeps telling me to start the quest by reading something I picked up. I've read everything but it doesnt help.

WHen importing the Witcher 2 save. Do I just pick the final autosave made by W2? It autosaves after your encounter with Letho right?
I see, thanks.
One thing that's bothering me is that I want to do quests but they're way above my level. For instance, thisI really hope it's not time-sensitive.Hattori quest I just picked up called 'Of Swords and Dumplings' suggests that I meet him at midnight but it's level 24 and I'm level 14.
So, we know that heavier armor makes Geralt slower (dodge etc). My question is, how does it work?
It's simple when you have all 4 of the same weight class equipment:
4x Heavy gear = Really slow
4x Medium gear = Average
4x Light gear = Very Agile
But what happens when you mix these armors?
1 Light Armor
1 Medium Guantlets
1 Medium Boots
1 Light Trousers
What's the agility of this setup? Is the agility counted by total weight of a setup? Or is it based on how many light armors you have on? The strategy guide is pretty poorly written in terms of gameplay mechanics.
Anyone know?

Keep them, alchemy ingredients barely weigh anything at all. That said, if you have more than 10 of something, consider selling a few to an alchemist/herbalist/mage. That is a bigger stack than necessaryOkay, I have a lot of alchemy stuff in my Inventory. I'm still in the start of the game, where I'm looking for the Baron's family. Should I just sell all of my alchemy ingredients or should I just keep them, until I have the rolls that allows me to make different things?

Once and for all, hopefully someone can answer this:
Is it safe to sell your starting equipment? Are those swords needed for anything? Can you upgrade the armor after that first upgrade?
How about relic weapons, any real need to hang on to them if you already have something stronger?
Are axes and maces worth using or should I stick to swords? Some of them have way higher damage than swords.

They can be crafted into Witcher gear, but the gear is still level 1 and it's easy to find better equipment. It's up to you.anyone?
anyone?
anyone?
Ugh I hate this. I'm about to do Redania's Most Wanted soon, but I literally just finished Now or Never.
Yep. Haven't played all weekend because of it.
With a few exceptions, like the starter armor that you can upgrade once, only Witcher gear from Cat/Griffin/Bear school can be upgraded. You're free to sell anything else, even relics.anyone?

Keep them. Never sell alchemy ingredients.
Inventory has no size restriction. It'll extend. Only weight mattersAlright. It's just that I think I have around 3 blocks left for ingredients.
Are you sure the bug is really affecting you? You hardly get any if at all, XP for doing secondary/contract quests. Story quests are what offer XP for the most part. Every now and then I'll get XP from other quests though, just not most of the time.
Is someone doing a guide to what quests should be done before starting on specific others as to not miss out/fail crucial things? I know this sort of works against the freedom the player is supposed to have, but I'd honestly use something like that if I restarted.
Contracts hand out good xp. Say 250ish at a time. Side quests vary a lot. Seems like you got smacked with the xp bug.
Okay, seriously... what am I doing wrong with dodging and rolling? I'm finding it damn near impossible to enter a fight with multiple beasts and come out of it without a huge chunk of health missing. I've started treating combat like Bloodborne where I just get one or two hits in, then backroll to put distance between between myself and the group, but it always seems like the three or four other enemies attack at the same time, with damn near infinite range, and always during the roll, leaving the act of dodging completing pointless if I'm losing the health anyways.
