I've read that a new mission starts during this mission, called Calm Before the Storm. It hasn't started for me. Plus, I haven't found Craven either. Is this normal?

Assuming the bug will fix like 2 main NPC's in the game who refuse to talk to me for no reason and is preventing me from letting go of my current playthrough and start another one because I need to know what they have to say?
Well, I'm past that, but that "problem" did get me the "Butcher of Blaviken" trophy for killing a certain number of enemies (I forget how many) in ten seconds. I wonder if it will be as easy to do if they trim back the number of enemies in that encounter.
I just finished "Count Reuven's Treasure" and most of "Get Junior". I spent a good three or four hours playing this morning and only just left Novigrad because a quest actually sent me out of the city. Sooo much content, and I still feel as though I've barely scratched the surface.

also I just reloaded to make sure, and I dont get xp from the redonia most wanted quest. its still green not gray so /shrug hopefully I dont have the xp bug
Really really late game. I beat the game by not talking to them and it's probably something minor they have to say but as somebody who is extremely immersed in the universe it's really annoying to have two characters you care about not give you the last few bits of dialogue they have because of some bug.
I have two saves near the dialogue that if this next patch fixes I can reload, talk, and finally move on to my second playthrough.
Just finished my second fan art painting featuring Triss. Here's both of them.
Guess I have to go back playing the game now, unless I'll take on Ciri next, lol.
So I've accumulated quite some relic gear over time. Is it smarter to sell it for about 200-300 coin or dismantle it?
I dont really know which crafting materials are rare. I have a sword that give me amber or gold ore when dismantled. Is this good?
Items in question:
addan deith
moonblade
glory of the north
forgotten vran sword
the emmentaler

I really hope the increased font of the ui and hud are tacked on to the slider in the options, rather than simply increasing the couple of options that are there now. I play on a 27inch monitor and I like the smallest font choice i have on now.
Major word of warning, don't start the level 22? Mystery of the Byway Murders unless you are prepared to finish it. Lost 8 hours of gameplay due to bug. I killed some of the creatures but didn't kill the named mob for the contract, but then left to Skellige. After doing stuff there for ~8 hours, I tried to come back and the game constantly crashed while zoning back to Novigrad. Had to reload the save before ever leaving to Skellige and finish the by way murders contract.
Hang on, the lady next to the dwarf in Crow's Perch can craft too? In my game she can only sell, and I can only ask her about her accent. Is this a bug?
Best to sell or dismantle the fancy shit like gold skulls, necklaces, etc. in the "Other"tab? Been racking a whole bunch up.
Hours upon hours put in to this game and I've only touched like 1/20 of Velen. Insanity.
This generation has found me being more tolerant and accepting of trying western/medieval style RPGs than I ever was last generation or prior. Never cared or knew anything about Dragon Age, The Witcher, etc. yet turn the clock forward today and I rate Dragon Age Inquisition and The Witcher 3 as in my top 5 games of the generation so far! Didn't explore the Souls games much past Dark Souls and Bloodborne's also in there.
Anyone else found their tastes evolve or expand to other genres over the last couple of years?

Got any idea how much exp the "Wild at Heart" quest is supposed to give? It's a level seven quest in Velen that involves
a werewolf and a jealous sister who "accidentally" gets her killed.
I can't even tell if the measly experience I'm getting is for the fight or quest completion. This quest took a decent amount of time and the difference between my total exp pre and post fight is 45. So that's either just the kill exp or that combined with quest completion, which would make the quest completion exp even more pathetic.
Ultimately I'm assuming this is the exp bug biting me though, and if that's the case I seriously have to put the game down until it's fixed. Or perhaps secondary quest exp sucks that much, even when they take over an hour of your time, in which case leveling truly is a drag.
Edit: I guess the exp is for quest completion alone. I reloaded and took the route that
lets the werewolf kill the sister, gives him the opportunity to live but still results in granting him death by beheading at his request.
I guess the 45 exp is for quest completion and you get nothing for the fight, meh. On the bright side it looks like the bug isn't biting me here.
