Well, I just did the first Cerys quest on Skellige and got no XP. So I'm pretty sure that cements that I have the bug. Time to wander and explore I guess :/
So where do I go to get Geralt some ass? I heard brothels are in the game. Haven't come across them.
Made it to Novigrad a few days ago. I have some quests available in Skellige too. Would you recommend hitting up Skellige right away or should I wait? Is it better to mix up quests and keep visiting multiple locations? I guess that's a preference thing.
I'm gonna finish it. I'm determined lol

Yeah. They're 0.01 each. So you would've lost 0.4 units of weight. Frankly I'm a lot happier with this than how it was in Witcher 2, where crafting mats rapidly accumulated to enormous weight. Granted, you can't just drop a bunch of iron ore to lighten your load like you could in the last game, but that's just because it doesn't significantly weigh you down in the first place.
No, each individual version of every item that's in your inventory definitely add to your weight. If one goat hide weighs 0.25 then two goat hide weigh 0.50.
That moment you realise any blacksmith would craft the gryphon swords and you thought only that special elf gu from the lvl 28 quest would do it...

Since I'm 18 I'm gonna hunt the enhanced set tomorow with a guide and use that

You only really need him and the master armorer to craft the highest tier stuff and those are all level 30+. Well passed the level of their quests.
For the first set of Griffin swords? 'cause I could only get the enhanced set crafted at the Journeyman level Blacksmith at Oxenfurt... Which actually took me a while to find. That moment you realise any blacksmith would craft the gryphon swords and you thought only that special elf gu from the lvl 28 quest would do it...

Wasn't it 50? Think they were increasing it to 60 with one of the DLC.What is the level cap? I wonder if the expansions will increase the cap.

Can't add XP on a PS4.Just because one quest doesn't give you XP doesn't mean all quest doesn't, it's completely random. Also you can use the console to add xp to your character that you would have gotten. It's what I've been doing, I monitor my XP right before I complete a quest, if I don't get XP I go on youtube and watch somebody else's LP and add the number of XP they got for the quest, I'm finding that only about 1/3 of the quests are actually missing XPs.
That's probably why CDP said it wouldn't kill your progression.
But it makes fans of the books really dislike Triss. Triss from the books would immediately jump at the idea of Yennefer being back after seeing Geralt. The fact that she withheld information from Geralt up until the point of no return when he starter getting back his memory made me really dislike her.

What builds are people using for Death March? I've only really played with melee builds and while I really like them I'm not sure if I want to do another playthough with the same build.
They wil. The second expansion includes a whole new area/ province.yeah, this game is so much of what i wanted. a top 10 of all time for me. the world is beautiful and it really gives off that fantasy vibe i've yearned for since reading a bunch of books and the LOTR movie.
i wonder what the expansions will be like. would be incredible if they gave us another region to explore.

Toussaint is a duchy within Nilfgaard famous for its wines, enabled by the volcanic soil. This mountainous place is ruled by Anna Henrietta. Toussaint has no army of its own, nor a police force, just a small number of knights-errant watching the borders and roads, though their attention is said to be keen. Tradition is a holy thing in Toussaint, so all holidays are keenly observed.
Are there are any quests in Oxenfurt itself? Its quite detailed.
Near the blacksmith in the town I found a house that had signs of bloodshed inside. In the basement area was a collapsed wall that seems to lead to sewers or something but it was locked. I found a Griffin diagram down there too.
Also in the south of town I swore I passed two guarfs outside sone compound thar were dressed like harlequins or wearing face paint. Who are they?
I thought a new region was confirmed?
I've read in this thread that Oxenfurt is so quest-light because it's the intended site for one of the two upcoming DLC campaigns. I don't know exactly what the deal is with the bloody mess around the Griffin diagram, but lots of the diagrams seem to have some signs of violence or drama or what have you around them to contextualize their presence. As to the men in masks, they're related to an upcoming main story quest. You'll find more about these men and the man they work for once you start doing stuff in Novigrad.
HnnnnnnghSecond expansion is a whole new area.
I'm playing my second play through on Death March. Going signs this time. I went Ursine with Adren build and hit like a mac track on first play through... this time I wanna be more strategic and "witcher" like

To use the higher levels of delusion in conversations, does it need to be an active skill?
Any good Witcher videos to watch at work? I got witcher on the brain man
Seems like a bad idea. Youtube recommendation will probably show the ending or something
Late Act 2 spoiler: I just got toIsle of Mists and found Ciri. I got so scared. So fucking scared. I thought I fucked up and wasn't quick enough somehow. I shed a tear, then she was alive again. Thank fuck.
What a freaking game.
Doesn't have to be W3. Some good recap videos or something will do >_>
The thirst is real
Sounds amazing. Hopefully I'm done with the main quest by then. So much to do in this game, and i don't always have the time to spend on it.From their description it sounds great. It's a land that seems completely untouched by war.
Another display of the faces displaying all kinds of emotions. It was some tear-inducing motherfucking shit
