Sounds amazing. Hopefully I'm done with the main quest by then. So much to do in this game, and i don't always have the time to spend on it.

lol you'll be. First expansion doesn't come until October and second expansion is slated for like 2016.

When people talk how well CDPR captures emotions that is the scene I instantly think about.
Geralt will not hesitate to walk in to any situation, no monster in the game gives him pause and he'll talk shit to some of the most powerful people in the world... but damned if he had trouble opening that door.

standing in the door. Sitting down on the bedside. Looking at the body as tears slowly start to form. The pained expression as he turns her around and finally hugs her lifeless body
. I was crying man. Crying.

edit: just watched the scene again and I cried again. lol

Damnmit. Did both skellige successor quests, the ice giant one being HUGE, and got no xp. It was green on my log so I know it was the bug. Ugh, such a bummer.

I don't know if I should "waste" my time exploring all of Velen before going to Skellige.

Should I?

I don't like to move to new areas before I've explored all of the current one and done everything possible in that area. Going to new areas might also close off some side quests, so I'd rather not risk it.

Using a Signs build for my first time through on Death March. Seems pretty cheesy lol.

Here is a contract fight with the Shrieker to give you an idea of how things work out:

As soon as you put down Yrden I wondered if it would knock it out of the air, good stuff. Thanks.

Exploring as in going to question marks? Finishing side quests? It depends on various things. Some side quests/contracts you can't do until a higher level. Some situations for some people such as getting to know
triss and yen
before making a decision require you to go to both areas before doing everything in Velen.

So again it's up to you.

I have a couple of level appropriate quests to go to Novigrad but I'm only level 11 and still have a ton of stuff to do in Velen. Should I just go there and come back?

Novigrad is just the city, the world map makes it look like a seperate zone but it's just Velen

Just did the
Kaer Morhen defense
mission

What a mission, amazing.

Could have used with a "late game spoilers" or something warning

Then again I'm a firm believer in "if you click a spoiler it's on you" so...

Wow that Ladies of the Wood quest. Starting to dig the game a bit.
I finally find an RPG where I feel I can follow the story but I'm struggling to get a grasp of everything else.
I'm out of money and all my shits about to break. I must be doing something wrong. Can I take out a loan somewhere?

From the latest patch notes:

Significantly Enlarged GUI and HUD elements (including fonts) on consoles and slightly on PC.
Hmm...hopefully not TOO much...it all looks fine on my TV. Hope it doesn't look goofy blown the hell up.

What does each set of Witcher armor specialize in? I recall some folks earlier talking about critical hits with the Cat set.

Game could pick up the pace a little bit. Home stretch is a little ridiculous, but maybe I'm cramming in too much.

Uh, so, final act glitch possibly:
I did the quest for Roche with Ves but now my quest log has reset to say that I haven't done it? It tells me to go help Roche with the Ves problem but I can't talk to him anymore. He did say he'd do anything to help me when I finished it, but I can't follow up with a specific request for the Wild Hunt.

Is there anything in those lands south/southwest of Velen where there is no POI, villages, houses or ruins visible from the map? Did anyone dare to go down there?

I truly that CDPR will address the absence of the following characters in the Beauclair Expansion:

- Iorveth
- Saskia
- Shani
- Adda
- Anais La Valette

Are Shani, Adda and Anais Witcher 1/book characters?

Yes, Shani and Adda are book characters and played a significant role in Witcher 1.

Anais is not a book character, but her mother, the Baroness LaValette is. She is regarded as Foltest's "legitimized" bastard daughter in Witcher 2. If you go for the Roche playthrough, Anais' role is important as she is regarded as a successor to the throne of Temeria.

On PC does the game just randomly crash to desktop for anyone else? No error message or nothing. Just want to make sure if it's a known problem, before I go messing around with my overclocks.

Godammit, I hate that tomorrow is Monday. Just got to Skellige and it is fucking beautiful. Not surprised so much of the early press material was taken from here.

Seeing as my entire playtime so far has been on the version of W3 with the XP glitch, and CDPR have said that when that bug is fixed you won't get any of the XP you were unfairly denied, are there any XP exploits out there that can be used to get back up to the proper level?

I asked this yesterday I believe, didn't get much response.

Any tips on making coin? Everything I have goes in to repair my god damn sword, that thing needs repairing all the time.

What's up with the incredible level inconsistency between enemies?

I fight some level 3 enemies and go south a bit.... only to find level 22 enemies. Then I go around them and find level 10 enemies.

Seriously, wtf?
