Ice cold.

I played chicken Witcher, avoided the subject whenever possible. Never did that quest.

Still got the
Triss happily ever after
Ending. Nothing about
Yennefer though, it's like she just disappeared.

Does travelling to Skellige cancel out any sidequests in Novigrad? Is there a point where you're so overleveled that you no longer get XP from certain sidequests?

I thought I read there was. Well ok then

The games themselves aren't considered canon, the books leave
Geralt dead and Ciri happily ever after with Galahad.

Game canon is based entirely on player choice, since there's no other Witcher media that draws off of it..

Question regarding one of the Skellige Islands,
middle Eastern one with Freya's Garden on it
.
I was exploring island and came upon this Garden, from the gate I saw werewolf, I proceeded to pursue and events with it started to unfold. Is there quest related to this somewhere or should I just pursue this without one?

You need to be careful with the
Lambert
quest, it'll take a few Skellige quests to cancel it out but those missions run into each other, so it's best to get it out the way as soon as you arrive.

I came across it alongside the main quest but I think it can be done separately I'm not entirely sure though.

Late-late-late-late-late game spoilers:
Oh god Triss and Yen are plotting something against me, I suspect it's something even a Witcher cannot combat.
I kinda met the halfway point between the two but straight up said my love on the Djin Quest.

Here we go boys, rip.

Yeah. Everyone does think she is dead or missing. Until Letho tells Geralt she was in Nilfgaard, whereupon he probably tells everyone else that he is going to look for her.

So why does everyone keep acting like Triss was betraying Yen in Witcher 1 and 2? If she thinks Yen is dead and Geralt is coming to his new relationship with Triss honestly then what's the problem? The moment Geralt recovers his memory in W2 and tells Triss that Yen is alive she says "Then I will drop everything to help you find her."

Dismantle the weapon and they should be returned. If you go to the remove upgrades option though, they'll be destroyed.

Course then you can't sell back the weapon for cash, but useful if you have particularly good runes you want to keep or if you're flush with cash. Crafting runes is a real PITA due to the cost and scarcity of black pearls.

It is related to a main quest. I'd wait for that before going after that particular werewolf. But ofc you can also do it seperately (I believe it is on a job board on that island).

Yeah. That it kind of true. Why is everyone saying Triss was conspiring to keep Geralt from Yen?

Skellige is soo good.

Best area in the game, for sure.

And I'm not just saying that because a Northern Irishman is the first person you meet.

I have 5k gold that's not a problem :)

Isn't the spoilered part at least debatable? I thought
the unicorn with the incredibly difficult to spell name showed up and allowed Ciri to heal them and drop Yen and Geralt in a different world

Isn't this the girl that used a little magic to seduce Geralt after him and Yen had a fight? Which led to a one-night stand that he regretted all throughout the series? I don't trust her.

My point was, if they were indeed following the trope I suggested, then they telegraphed the kind of person Whoreson Junior was.

First, that makes no sense. His mother was a whore so he killes whores? What? What about Vernon Roche then? That's just silly. Second, his father was called Whoreson and he lead the gang until Junior killed him, hece the name. Your theory implies that both his father and him had mothers who were prostitutes, which is... convenient at best, and at worst it makes the character's premise even stupider, which doesn't help the game.

so just bought the game, im really enjoying so far (and the combat is hard, I love it)

I just have a question : when you read go to read signs with quests on them, do you accept the quest when you pick up the paper? because it doesn't update my quest log...

Hey, I'm just repeating a trope, but yeah I had kind of blocked out all that other information.

Holy shit, CDPR! [Last Wish Spoilers]

What the fuck at these dialog options?!
- "I still love you, too"
or
- "Sorry, but I don't want to be with you anymore."

That is bloody harsh, even if you're on #TeamTriss like myself.

Edit: Got daaaaamn I feel horrible.

For the love of god does ANYONE have a clip of the 2nd option?

Well, remember that Yen and Geralt were both taken by Ciri, and Triss was there, so it wouldn't be such a huge leap of logic to assume that if Geralt came back to life, then Yen also did. She wasn't necessarily conspiring against Yen, but it did put me off in the first Witcher how there was absolutely no mention of Yen the entire game.

When you're overburdened and want to lose weigh, dropping leathers won't do anything at all. Not sure with other ingredients.

Basically all the ingredients only weigh 0.01 each. Same with food and other useables.. for the majority of your weight, look at your 'equipment' and 'other' tabs.

It doesn't seem so much like active conspiracy as it seems like convenient, willing, passive ignorance.

Does anyone know if CDPR has released how much exp you miss by playing the game with the exp bug? I can't find it anywhere with searches...

I don't mind missing a few levels, but if we are talking 6+ levels of exp missing then I might just have to shelve this game till later this year. I don't have time to wait weeks for an exp fix to get through Sonys QA.
