I dunno, I've rolled away unscathed from pretty big drops. I think you're overstating the gravity of the situation.
If only I New-ton then what I know now... (good tip on the roll, will have to use that.)

It's a bit ridiculous how feeble Geralt is when it comes to anything more than a two foot drop. Jump over a three foot wall and lose over half his health. > <
Dude drops 8 feet and basically dies. I can make jumps like that in real life and still come out without a scratch.I lost a quarter of health falling down some steps. Geralt has some weak knees; dude is the Dwayne Wade of Novigrad.
Fall damage is not realistic in this game at all... It's way overtuned compared to real life. But in TW3, fall damage is realistic. Geralt isn't damaged by a fall of 4-5 feet, like in real life. But falls of 10 feet or so, which would stun you a bit even if you land on your feet, stun him, too, with a small bit of damage.
Fall from 15-20 feet – something which is brushed off by protagonists in basically any game ever – and you will very likely be hurt to some degree, and Geralt is, indeed, hurt.
Once I saw how significant and realistic fall damage is in this game (vaulting off of the catwalk up to the Baron's house), I never dropped significant heights again unless I had to. It's been a non-issue for me because the game's language taught me not to take any chances with it, like you wouldn't in real life.
TL;DR: In real life, gravity's a bitch. In The Witcher 3, gravity's a bitch. Get used to it.
You guys are doing it wrong. Geralt can jump anything and survive. ¯\_(ツ_/¯

Where can I find a Journeyman sword smith to craft me some sweet Ursine swords?
Maybe already posted as it's a bit old, but that glitch is hilarious.
From the brothel, so NSFW obviously.

This aspect of the system bothers me, too.
If I upgrade Quen level 1 to 3/3, then I unlock Quen level 2 and upgrade it to 1/3, but Quen level 1 isn't in an active slot, do I only get the 1/3 Level 2 effect or do I get the buffs from Level 1 as well? (Eg +1.5% sign intensity).
Not getting the active effect seems fair enough, but not getting the intensity/stat buffs seems unfair.

In the South East of Oxenfurt.
Maybe it's just placebo effect, but when I first started the game and started out playing qwent, all the NPCs looked ballin and excited to play, but as I got deeper into the game and stealin MFers cards, everything resulted in:
-"How bout a game of gwent?"
-*the saddest merchant look/nod in the world*
See kids. This is why you don't find hookers.
Anyone with the no "xp bug" not have any of the free DLCs?

I'm getting sick of enemies knowing when you put up Quen and immediately hitting you to remove it. It defeats the purpose of using it. They shouldn't get extra attack power or reaction just because you put your shield on. Fucking ridiculous.
Then there's that armorer that advertises a crossbow he's not even selling."TOP NOTCH SWORDS"

Luckily, I got a CE from Amazon for 150. It was sold after some minutes. Finally, I can play Gwent in real.
The new Nilfgaardian Armor is gorgeous but it's a shame it's a bit crap.
Try this:We really need a storage chest or bag or something added in a future patch.
I've crafted all the collectible Witcher armor and I don't really wanna destroy it all because I'm now overburdened.
- The armor set and Nilfgaardian crossbow can be purchased from the Barons Quartermaster in No Man's Land.Where can it and the crossbows be purchased?
Where can it and the crossbows be purchased?
What do you mean? Would downloading the free dlc rectify the situation? I literally can't progress until I find a work around.
So has anyone had major problems being underleveled because of the main quest not giving experience? I am level 16 and just finished the quest where youand I did not receive any experience for that quest. Wondering If I should wait to continue playing until after the game is patched?interview Dandelion's lovers
Try this:- The armor set and Nilfgaardian crossbow can be purchased from the Barons Quartermaster in No Man's Land.
- The Skellige crossbow can be bought from Skellige Kaer Trolde Castle Blackmsmith.
- The Elven crossbow can be purchased from the Novigrad Fancy Shop Owner.
Armor is from the quartermaster where the Bloody Baron is.
Level 7 Nilfgaardian crossbow is from the same guy.
Level 14 Skellige crossbow is from the Blacksmith at Kaer Trolde.
Level 21 Elven crossbow is from a Novigrad merchant apparently but I haven't been able to find that one yet.
I need a bit of help with a certain quest in Velen regarding a 'tree'. It should be one of the final main quests for Velen, so don't read if you haven't done that already.
I came across a spirit residing in a tree and decided to free it, though I'm not particularly sure if that was the right choice. However, I was then told that rescuing the spirit results in some orphans I saw earlier being saved from being eaten by the crones and the old woman, Gram, would die as a result as well (unfortunately).
I took the only other quest open to me and went back to the village, played hide and seek, found johnny, helped him, talked to the crones, got the dagger, talked to the village elderman and told him I freed him. When I came back, the three crones appeared, the old woman was alive and they spoke about eating the children.
My question is: What the fuck? That's not supposed to happen, is it? Did something go wrong?
I'm tempted to go back and kill the spirit, since this just seems like a bad result. It turning into a hellhorse wasn't exactly comforting.
Create more space, or use a bomb to CC, if you stand close to them and activate it there's a good chance they'll exploit the opening.
