What is the point in DLC armor sets when they are some low level, borderline, trash and won't scale upwards? I never saw point in Temerian armor thanks to price tag it had for so low level armor and now Nilfgaard armor is just laughable low level for me.
Also those crossbows, same thing. What is the point to have nice models on them if they don't scale at all?
Most worth DLC has been Yen and Miners for me. Hairstyles is nice, but I will always use same style and no shave.

What level are you? I'm 35 and the gauntlets are 37.
Completed all contracts. Finished almost all quests. All that remains are some treasure hunts, racing, and Gwent. And obviously any ! I've missed and will need a guide to find.
Looking forward to getting stuck into Gwent, but a part of me is depressed the journey is more or less over.
Time for new play through where you make all the opposite choices. Boom another 200 hours to go!

So, this is the best written game ever made, isn't it ? Maybe tied with Planescape Torment.

I have one question though....can I complete (maybe later in the game) Soldier's Statuette quest, if

I mean, first there is the hilarious rescue of Dandelion through theater play and more shenanigans, then helping him get money by pretending to be a bandit (which had me rolling, "oh no, not Carmine Avenger!"), then the gut punch with Priscilla getting attacked in such vicious way (and I love her character), then incredibly well written serial killer investigation with absolutely amazing climax (I had no idea it would be higher vampire...it blew my mind, with memories of Regis still being fresh, how they played on that), then I saved mages with Triss, after which there was that glorious beautiful rant by Dijsktra on Radovid the Witless....
I have one question though....can I complete (maybe later in the game) Soldier's Statuette quest, if
Triss went to Kovir ? I am going to be with Yennefer, so it would be wrong to ask her to stay..

People still obsessed with the xp bug?
The game is big and full of content, so even with the xp bug I finished with a pair more of levels of what I should have. That's why the said the xp bug wasn't critical, but people didn't believe them.

25 and looking at DLC armor just makes me lol, useless atm. So there is some magical line where they leap up in requirements. I wonder why not to have it dynamically scale as you level, it's not like loot you find is that good anyways after you get to craft Witcher sets.

With the leveled Temerian and Nilfgaardian armor sets, you are pretty much set through level 10 at the start of the game. After that you can acquire Witcher gear, so there's really no use for any of the more generic sets in the game.

That's weird, mines really low level too. I'm level 22 and the gear is all level 10+.

That's a really good article. Articulates the issues in a much stronger way than Geiss' review did. I hope we see more characters that are actual minorities (not fantasy minorities) in the next Witcher game.

Just had something pretty silly happen. I passed by a big group of drowned before getting pulled into quest dialogue. The drowned group followed and stood in a clump near one of the NPCs and then as soon as the dialogue was over beat him to death. It was pretty hilarious. I took a picture, very minor side quest dialogue spoiler.
I resigned myself to keep playing with the XP glitch, and you know what? It's fine.
I still get XP from POIs and sidequests and stuff. I'm still leveling up, and at almost level 17 I'm way ahead of the Triss/Dande quests I'm doing now.

So it has some scaling going on, but it's not dynamic but with some trigger level. Am I wrong if I say that is better stats than Mastercrafted Witcher armor can give?
I completely disagree with the writer. It feels like some people are trying to project racial diversity that exists in America (all these social critiques tend to be written by Americans) onto medieval Northern Kingdoms. People did not make this argument when Lord of the Rings was released? Why is that? This is a game written by a Polish author, inspired by Slavic and European folklore.
Witcher games actually deal with the ramifications of racial inequality and ruthless human nature better than any other RPG. Intolerance is an integral part of the journey and in my opinion the game does not make light of it.
To say that this game is not historical is complete nonsense. The world is heavily influenced by specific history and culture and I don't know how Polygon fails to understand this.

I'm using a full set of mastercrafted feline, so yeah it's higher, but it's also medium which tends to have higher stats on average than light. I'd swap out but I'd lose my light armour bonus, and I'd have to look like a Nilfgaardian
Can someone please explain the relationship debacle between Triss and Yennefer? I am close to decide if I want a relationship with Triss and I am unsure, what negative effect it has to start something with both sorceresses.
I got all information from the official prima guide.
So, what disadvantage do I have, when starting a relationship with both of them?
I mean, as far as I understand it, it is possible, to have at least sex with both of them. First with Triss after "Now or Never". Then later the first time with Yen shortly after you arrive at Skellige. Later in Act 2, you are able to have a cozy time with Yen a second time, I guess in Kaer Morhen. But the scene in which both sorceresses "punish" you comes rather at the end of the game.
So, what disadvantage do I have, when starting a relationship with both of them?

had the same experience. The groups third guy was attacked and killed during the cutscene for me. I had a nice laugh

Temerian set is sold in White Orchard, by vendor near the Inn.
Nilfgaardian set is sold by Bloody Barons quartermaster, next to armorsmiths.

I rather keep my adrenaline % gain stats for OPness.
You don't need armor when you can spam signs on every hit with Rage Management.
I agree, not with the novigrad thing but the "...talk later" - you never see her again either.

Going by the Termerian Armour being light, and the Nilfgaardian Armour being medium, and both sharing similar resistance type distribution, logic would imply we'll get Redanian Armour that is heavy, similar stats.
That would leave remaining known DLC.

- Fool's Gold (mission most likely)
- Ballad Heroes neautral gwent card set
- Redanian heavy armour (assumed)

Was showing my friend the game today and we ran in to so many bugs in so little time. Terrain and stairs disappearing, MAJOR pop in. Still he was in my frame of mind, buggy ass game but still excellent.

just do any gry quest you still have..you are bound to have some in line since there are so many low level quest that it's impossible to get xp from all of them
