ok, wtf, that's enough. 100 puzzles in and now I'm a dumbass apparently. Got to the Swamp tutorial and my brain left the room.

Someone please explain this to me like I'm 5. Feel free to draw a pretty picture while laughing. NO HINTS, BREHS, JUST THE ANSWERS, I'VE BEEN HERE TOO LONG, IF YOU GIVE ME A HINT I'M GONNA SNAP

I'm stuck at these exact two puzzles as well. It feels like there's an easy solution to the second one but when you try it you realize a little detail throws it off. I keep coming back to the same answer with it so I'm pretty much stumped at this point.

Played a few hours, got stuck alot. Still alot I don't understand with some puzzles. Was hoping to play this with my wife, but her watching me made her motion sick. She couldn't look at the screen which is not normal for her.

The near-silence is golden a lot of the time, but for when it's not, Space Dreams channel on DI pairs perfectly with the game. Most of it is ambient pads and stuff, so it doesn't get in the way. I tried a bunch of other music, but it all ended up distracting me.

For the first one go up 4, across 1, down 3, across 2, up 3 and exit

can someone provide a hint for the sand temple?

i am at
the part where there are four panels at the very top of the temple, the bottom one is 2/3rds covered. i am able to solve the middle one using sun reflection, but i cannot for the life of me find a vantage point to utilize the suns reflection on the left and right. what am i missing?

Only about an hour in, but:

Nice sense of accomplishment already from figuring out some of these. Not really the puzzles themselves, but the way they hide the answer sometimes... had a few "oh, you sneaky bastard..." moments already. Methinks there's many more of those still to come.

Just try moving outside the temple. I think I got the two side panels from being outside the temple.

Tip for people stuck on
tetris piece
type puzzles: I had a lot of trouble with a couple of them and ended up being able to solve them pretty fast by screenshotting and overlaying some drawn over rotated
tetris pieces
and tracing lines there. Much easier to visualize that way, kind of doesn't count as cheating? Probably an annoyance if you're playing on PS4 but it was much quicker than trying to sketch them out with p&p.

The open-ended nature of this of running here, doing that and getting stuck and then looking and moving elsewhere is great. I put it down for the night as I have an early day at work tomorrow. I'll be thinking about the puzzles all day though.

No problem, haha. This one was kinda mindblowing for me too, but it felt cool to solve!

This Y business in the Quarry is still kicking my stupid ass. I just don't fucking get the mechanic or what it means.

Straight-up explanation (may ruin the fun):
it's a 'freebie'. It allows for one rule to be broken if they're in the same section: for example, you don't need to cover a dot. (But only one)

WAAAAAT

Why is that the answer? Witness be trippin.

You can put the 4-block column on the first column, then put the L with the short end at the top on the bottom and the L with the short end at the bottom on the top

The area in the green forest is super fucking tedious.
The light and shadow conceit is interesting, but there's about three dozen panels that rely on that gimmick. Please just stop, game. I get it.

How does one summon the boat ? Is it
the puzzle on the roof of the boat shed ? If so, I cant seem to work out that puzzle with the 2 triangles :/

PS4 pro tip: hold "share" to take a screenshot, then double-press the PS-button to switch between the game and the current non-game application, which you want to be the screenshot gallery app.

Stuck in
the room inside the temple with the water levers, think I'm on the third one, can't find where the pattern reflects, driving me.nuts the other two were pretty straight forward. Tried lowering and raising the water about twenty times

Edit: nevermind I finally found it.

Hahaha, I agree. There's a bajillion of them, and some that rely on the reverse mechanic, too. I had to take a break from them.

So like...
if there's 4 green dots that I need to separate, I really only need to find a way to separate 3?
