Canada lost again in curling?
Does anyone else find this embarrassing?

I do. It should have been Kevin Martin over there over Brad Jacobs.
Swiss and Sweden are top contenders, so it shouldn't be a big surprise. Jacobs himself is curling well, it's the rest of his team choking. Canada really has to beat the teams they're supposed to beat now. Miss the medal round and then it's embarrassing.Canada lost again in curling?

I wish our women were closer to the men's level of speed skating. For now it's only Wust. Oh well.
She's there as an analyst but she didn't make the cut for the 500/1000, I didn't watch the trials but that was surprising.Where's Annette Gerritsen?
Biathlon is why I love the Winter Olympics. So many weird, quirky sports in it. 10km should be a good race!

Yeah although biathlon is huge in some european countries.
I will never understand how out of all the winter games, biathlon is the weird one.

That's true. Things can change incredibly fast, which is what makes it so watchable imo.The way it is shown on NBC does not help the situation. They cut out huge chunks and make it unbelievably confusing. It doesn't help that commentators suck. It is important to watch it live.

Nesbitt is a shadow of what she was before.
What a fallout. So many mistakes.
Just so you know I didn't mean to 'insult' the sport at all, hope you understand what I'm saying. It's just not big here and you hardly hear about it. But with the Olympics everyone is able to watch stuff like curling, bobsled/luge, ski jump, biathlon, and I love that.
I'm also curious about the history of the sport; the winter games just give me a good dose of nostalgia every time because I remember back to when I would play the Winter Olympics on my cousins old Apple II.
