Which router would be best to connect 3 or 4 Xbox 360's wirelessly on? i.e. not have to open up any ports
Firefox has a memory footprint (currently mine is 160MB), but you should never be even close to hitting anything performance affecting.Lucky Forward said:Does it affect PC game performance if you have a Firefox session open at the same time? I have a Dell i7 quad-core 8MB RAM.
If so, is it that big an issue if you're playing an older game? I've gotten back into Rome: Total War lately, and sometime when I have questions I'd like to be able to alt-tab to Firefox and look for an answer without exiting the game.

Gravijah said:Yes, and you can even play them with a limited color palette.

Night_Trekker said:I ordered a used Guncon 2 a few weeks ago from Amazon. I had to buy a y-splitter to hook it up (it didn't come with any other cords)... and it just won't work. The PS2 senses the Guncon and I can fire it, but when I try to calibrate it, no matter how still I hold it, the reticule jumps all over the screen left and right, mostly along the x-axis. It's unusable.
What's going on here? Is it because I don't have the official y-splitter (I have no idea where the hell I would find one of those)? I can't figure this out, and I need to know if the unit itself is the problem so I can send it back soon.

I am not entirely sure, but you can clear all of your stats. Apparently you can reset achievements as well, like so: http://www.teamfortress2fort.com/forums/t/Howtoresetachievements-11314.aspxlifeinthefridge said:I logged onto steam yesterday and decided to play a game I haven't played much of at all since buying the Orange Box 4 years ago, Team Fortress 2. Strangely enough, it showed on my steam profile that 94% of the games personal achievements were unlocked. This was pretty peculiar as I haven't ever played much of the game, but did want to start getting into it now.
As it turns out, a friend of mine came over back in June and played on my account after I went to bed. He claims he may have by mistake, joined a modded server that unlocked all the achievements. He claims that he is willing to reimburse me for all the games if something should happen to my account. i.e (It getting banned)
My questions...
Should I be worried about my steam account getting banned and losing access to all my games? Can i rectify this somehow?
And second, is there a way to reset all of my steam achievements and unlocks? I wanted to start getting into Team fortress 2 and it is really annoying knowing that all the weapons and achievements are basically unlocked already. (I think?) It's really frustrating.

I believe there's an option to toggle that in the Video Settings.Chopper said:Am I able to play videos one after another on my PS3? It doesn't look like it to me...
Oh wow, just bought this one. So far it's good. I downgraded to this from the Logitech G35 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming headset. The sound of course, is not as good but very substantial and gets the job done. While Turtle Beach touts the P11 as a headset you can play your PS3 games with without disturbing anybody, the speakers are still pretty loud even at a moderate volume. They're easy to setup and for that price, it's a decent grab as it doubles as a headset for the PC/Mac. They're also very comfortable. I wouldn't go as far as saying as you won't notice that they're on (since the volume box sort of acts as a weight and tugs the headset down a bit) but they're certainly very light and comfortable on the ears.Rewrite said:I'm looking to buy an affordable gaming headset and ran into this one in Amazon.

If any of you guys have them, I'd appreciate your feedback or if you have any other suggestions they're also very welcomed. It's mostly going to be used for PS3 gaming.
1080p is most likely going to be the standard. Barring any crazy tech breakthroughs.Mikey Jr. said:Is there any educated guesses about the standard resolution of the next gen consoles?
I want to buy a new tv for my current PS3 and 360, but I also want to be future proof for the next gen as well. Are the PS4 and Xbox 3 going to start pushing 2k resolution or whatever? Or is 1080p going to pretty much be the standard?
I don't care about 3-d.
