Roto13 said:I played through Resident Evil 5 on co-op with a friend and didn't unlock anything when we finished. I'm assuming this is because we quit midway through a few levels and I went back to level 2-1 to grind for ammo a bit before resuming. (He was hosting.) My questions:
- To unlock the costumes and unlimited ammo and stuff, do I just have to play through the chapters I'm missing clear times for, or do I have to do them all again?
- Does it matter if I play the game on Amateur for those three chapters when my records for the others are for Normal?
- Do I have to host, and if I don't have to host, can I do it with the unlockable infinite ammo?

I have a question of my own. Amazon's not selling the DSi XL any more. Is it getting discontinued? I have intended to trade in my Lite for an XL at some point but I had hoped the price would go down first!
Also, I asked before about some website or story or article that explains the differences between 480p image quality of the Gamecube and Wii, so if that's out there.

Are they given as a bonus from the publishers or do they have to pay for the exclusive?
That's a lot more steps than stupid GameFAQs mentions.Cels said:1) Costumes - you have to beat the game once and get all the BSAA emblems to unlock all the costumes. Unlimited ammo - you have to upgrade that particular weapon fully then buy the cheat for that weapon in the bonus features using points (the points you get after finishing chapters)
2) Any difficulty I think
3) You don't need to host, you can do it with infinite ammo.

It's been a good few years since I've played the GC version, but I believe that Player 1 has to activate the monolith in each dungeon in order to be able to go to the next dungeon freely (or whoever is in control of the file). Also, unlocking an area on one difficulty won't unlock it on another.Pikma said:To anyone who have played Phantasy Star Online:
I've been playing the GC version on split screen (I had never played it before) with my BF lately, but we have an issue: Do you really need to play every dungeon from the very beggining (i.e. Forest 1), no matter if you've finished it, every time you turn on the game? or are we doing something wrong at saving?
Hope somebody helps me out on this one as I've been having quite the hard time finding an answer to that.![]()
I'm using a PS3 sixaxis controller with the MotioninJoy drivers. You can set it to emulate a 360 controller.Totobeni said:- Is there any other good 360 third party controllers that get recognized by Windows 7 as a Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller (like the Logitech Chillstream)and work for PC, I have a wired 360 controller and the Chillstream but I just hate them..need other good ones.
I went to Apple's site to see which card that is. It's the Radeon 6750M, which seems to be marginally better than the minimum listed requirement for Battlefield 3. So no, you won't be able to play maxed out, but it should be playable on low settings.twinturbo2 said:I'm thinking about ditching my Windoze PC for a Macbook Pro. I have three questions. One, would the 1GB video card in the 17 inch model be enough to run stuff like Battlefield 3 running in Boot Camp Windows 7 maxed out?
Unless I misunderstand your question, it's just up to you where you play it if there's a Mac version. I'd say you might as well run them through Boot Camp since that's where you'll be doing most of your gaming anyway.twinturbo2 said:Finally, I have a bunch of Steam games that have Mac versions. I'm not sure why an iMac has a mobile GPU but it's still a good card, yes. The memory doesn't matter, it's just more memory for a higher resolution. The 17" probably does not have a resolution that would benefit from 2GB of VRAM. But the model is much closer to the recommended GPU for Battlefield 3 (as opposed to the minimum requirement).twinturbo2 said:The 27 inch iMac has a Radeon 6970M that can have up to 2GB video memory, is that good?
I mean, I would suggest that over the Macbookthe GPU is a little better, too. But it still seems expensive, and 16GB is an unnecessary amount of RAM. Although, maybe that's just what you have to pay for a good gaming laptop, I dunno.twinturbo2 said:I guess I'll just wait for the next Macbook Pro revision, then. Or get this.

It's not too much of a hassle (the drivers and all that jazz) and iirc require to be connected to the internet always too when my gaming rig is not always connected.
