Aww man. Again if you're serious you're totally welcome.
I am sorry if I insulted you.

It's always hard on here, despite this being the single best thread I know of on any message board. Either people come on here with complete guesses, "I don't know"'s or "It's probably..."

And from the asking angle, there are occasional questions that are so fringe that it's hard to tell if we're just being taken on a ride.

Well, actually, you can help me again. I'm constantly posting some old music videos on my Facebook page wall, but I have a hard time trying to remember some old video clips.

There is this video clip I saw many years ago, were there is a old bold man swiping the floor with a broom, I guess the old man had some tatoos in him and some scars, there is a rock band in the background, I remember little about it, it is a rock music clip. The song for I can remeber talk about rage and anger, how he wasted his life. I don't know the name of the rock band and the name of the song.

Do you know the name of this music clip? :)

The idea of a janitor in front of a rock band kinda sounds like Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit. Are you thinking of an American rock group?

No, that is not the video clip.

The old man, he might be a janitor, he was not wearing a shirt and he is bold, I remember there was some stuff flying in the background. I'm trying to remember the name of the song, but I can't remember.

Yes, I think it is an american Rock band.

I want to install Windows 7 and I currently have two hard drives (500 gig, 1 tb). Windows XP is on the 500 gig and I just have movies on the other. Each drive has roughly 250 gigs of space left. Am I going to have to reformat both drives or can I just move the data off the smaller drive and do a clean install of windows 7 on it?

You only have to format the drive you want to install W7 on. You can even create a partition on the 500g and move all of your XP files that you want to keep over to that if you don't want to wait a couple hours to move everything to the 1tb.

If I import the new Ryan Giggs fitness DVD from the Uk to the US, what will I need in order to view it?

It's all I can think of on those 2.

If you can't tell for sure, don't give an answer. Easy solution.
Good point. And I do follow this unwritten rule. It's an annoying trend in this thread. Gotcha though. I guess I am a little bit defensive on this thread because so much good has come of it. I've asked plenty of questions for which I finally got answers and have looked almost everywhere else, and finally found answers here. I've tried to help too and have posted some of my answers in areas that I know well. I don't post probably's or maybes in here. Just known answers and the occasional "wow I have always wondered that too".

look pal, if you want to ignore questions go ahead, I'm asking honest questions here since one of my neighbors is an artisan and makes hammocks and he's going through a tough situation and he told me to help him sell online here, I just felt like askinf GAF about it

Then honestly I apologize. Good luck to your friend.

Is there a description for a psychological condition where a person insists on apologizing for things that no one thinks is their fault while regularly denying responsibility for things that they really are responsible for?
Wow, there's a really good question. I looked a few pages past your question but I almost asked something very similar to this. Does anyone have any ideas? I might "know" "someone" who suffers from this.
EDIT: Agh I'll just say it - It's me. I am so very quick to "I'm sorry" and "I apologize" and on the flip side I go to the ends of the Earth to wiggle out of any little tiny thing you can imagine. I am probably too busy apologizing somewhere as I procrastinate. Like right now.

it's like talking about the infiniteness of the universe.

Yeah can you do this at all? Even being an amateur astronomer and super space nerd, I have not been able to ever conceptualize an end to the universe, or a lack thereof. Forget about the bubble theory.

Why are schools and other establishments still using Windows XP? Jesus, its 2011, they need to get with the times. A lot of stuff sstudents do at home are not compatiple with XP

Old, cheap it administrators that do not want to spend the time to create a new networking system to link hundreds of computers together.

"I think, therefor I am"?
Yeah that's the concept. It all gets too crazy after that for me to really wrap my mind around it. There's lots of stuff about existence, and infinity, because it invokes the concept of the infinate. I guess that's always been one of the most problematic things for science. Calling infinity is such a nasty blow to speed of light travel, with the mass-energy equivalence thing. Huh? as an object approaches the speed of light, its mass becomes infinate. But I thought we're now saying light has mass, radio has mass... then those things should hit like a brick wall right? **eyes cross**

Are there any 360 co-op RPG games? I know of Two Worlds but thats it.

In Tales of Vesperia a 2nd player can join in on the fights. If you hate JRPG's, you won't like it, but it's a good game.

My Ryan Giggs fitness DVD question is serious as well. I read an interview of him recently where he was hawking it, and it sounds good. I need to become more flexible because I do a lot of repetitive motion exercise like running and cycling and this DVD is yoga/pilates focused.

Am I the only one who loved this guy? I'm looking for a download so I can get him back on my PC, but I can't seem to find one.

I kind of doubt that because one is from the Netherlands, the other one Germany, but it's as good a guess as any. Google's got nothing.

Second google result ;)

DKF - you can find our abbreviation all over the world on the bottlecaps of well-known bottlers. As a mid-sized company and an independent manufacturer, we have been producing bottlecaps for three generations. Our top quality, specialized machinery produce more than 20 million metal and plastic caps daily for a great number of breweries and soft-drink bottlers.

DKF was founded in 1924 as a cork factory in Delmenhorst by Arthur Linck. We have successfully built up the production of crown caps, aluminum and plastic caps in three main phases since the beginning of the 1950s.

Our service is focused on the individual demands of our customers. We offer manufacturing and delivery in one, directly and promptly. Our clients value our products' high quality and our quick, reliable delivery.

For many of our clients, our abbreviation DKF stands not only for the Delmenhorst Cork Factory (Delmenhorster Kork-Fabrik) but also for direct, c(k)ompetent, and friendly.

We will be happy to contribute to your corporate success!

Ok I am with Virgin Media at the moment and I am looking to change my services but when I have called to enquire about prices the ones they give me are very crap.
I was wondering if anyone knew if I could cancel my account and have my wife start one in the same address so she could get the new customer discounts (broadband specifically) or would they not allow me to do this?

Any help would be great.

Gaf, I read a long time ago and I guess it's now general knowledge, that human mind makes you go left instead of right when facing a choice (unkown corridors/doors, entering a place) etc... because left is from the side of your brain that seek security while the other part seek for aventure.

But I can't find any study or written doc online. I don't know the name the this behavior or anything. Can you help me find some relatives documentation ?

I got only this so far

Even if that preference is observed, are you sure it wouldn't just be because we read things left-to-right, and so conciously or unconciously start with the option on the left?

Anyone, anything ?

So I recently visited Paris, and noticed the high amount of paintings sold at the stalls along the Seine. Anyone know how these are mass produced? It seems like oil paint is actually used, but there are so many similar looking ones, and they're sold quite cheap.

ok so mock me if old, but I just found this out tonight.

Go to Youtube, watch any video, hold up and left arrows, play SNAKE.

Also since this thread is for questions, other than this, the old google pacman thing, star wars telnet thing, what other little hidden games/gems are out there?

On my PS3, why does it sound a lot better when I use the "bitstream" setting rather than Linear PCM? The Blu Ray is Star Trek and it uses Dolby True HD as opposed to DTSHD MA. I always thought that True HD just sucked compared to DTSHD. However after tinkering with my the settings on the PS3 and switching it to bitstream, the difference is night and day.

Why do people post "double post" under their post? (No "Yo dawg" memes please)
If they accidentally click the Submit Reply button twice it will post two replies. They edit out one.

Why isn't there an updated list of bannable phrases/memes anywhere?

I know the mods can do whatever they want yadda yadda yadda, but if it's important enough to ban someone for (even without a warning), then it's important enough to sticky somewhere.

This is only a problem because people can get banned for something simply for not being in the right thread at the right time (which is absolutely absurd for a board this large) to know its bannable.

What's the deal with the my color control for Samsung LNR models? I have it set at pink-0, green-50, and blue-50. Color tone is cool1 and the color setting is at 45.

It's really hard to find a balance when watching BR movies. I pause and try to get the right skin tone when looking at a character's face, but I don't know if I'm making them look too "tan" or too pale.

Nice! Couldn't find that either.

Anyways reason for asking was a few years ago I opened a Heineken and it had this DKF logo on the under side of the cap. I thought it was kinda interesting since DKF is also my initials. Could never find out what it meant though...

Then last week I opened a becks and there was the DKF logo again. Different beer this time though.

That same day the second bottle of Becks I opened had "DFK" at the top of the cap and "AA" at the bottom. My girlfriend said maybe I should take it as a sign :-p

Anyways, yea..so I was wondering what it meant because of that. Thanks guys!

A question I've always wanted answered, I see there are some charites who collect used stamps, How to they benefit them, do they money for selling them to collectors etc etc

That last part sounds like one of those zany phrenologesque things people come up with once in a while. In any case, it would have to be reversed, since the left side of your brain controls the right side of your body, the right visual field, etc.

As for the former... I've never heard that before.

Anyone willing to give me a decent idea on what the CRTC's guidelines are for radio broadcasts, and controversial content on them?
