Hmm. That must have changed within the past month or so. Like you, I'm guessing, I can't find the thread anymore that has a huge list of image hosts.Professor Beef said:Doesn't seem like it is anymore though.
It doesn't sound like you know very much about what happened. Was it working when you sold it, when did they find out it wasn't working, if anyone's upset. Were it me, I would pay my mother, get a hold of the calculator, and gauge its state.Baconbitz said:So, about two to three months ago I sold my Cousin a ti83 calculator (with my Aunt paying for it). Last Saturday my Mother informs me that all the batterires she tried did not work and that she already refunded her the money. Also, my Aumt still has the calculator. My problem here is that my Aunt waited this long to tell my Mother about the issue and also the fact that my Mom already repaid her My question is what should I do?

But I used that one via my iPhone since I was at the VietThai restaurant at the time.
Why is there a problem with the photo link? Please let me know.
Thanks.

Look at this:
[Motherfuckin' Harry]
Obviously the artist isnt getting permission for each of these, and the quality varies from each to each (his boba fett and yoda ones are AMAZING!). That said, he's basically cutting them out in photoshop and then applying some neat filters and learned techniques, then selling them for $150 a pop (printing to canvas is actually expensive).
Regardless, what's the legal boundary here? Is this guy breaking the law? Is he too small of an operation to matter? Does this fall under pop art, and is that enough to protect him from getting his ass sued?
Yes, I'm interested in doing the same (and can), but would at least like to hear any of your thoughts on the issue.

Not likely. Give yourself a few days of quiet - and esp avoid earbuds and headphones!Alivor said:GAF, I went to an obnoxiously loud concert last night and didn't bring earplugs like a dumbass. I've been to loud concerts before, but my ears have never rung this bad. Did I give myself some permanent hearing loss?
Qualified yes. Some email server products do allow background replication between instances. You need to research that.LyleLanley said:Not sure if this is the right thread but I'll ask anyways. I work at a relatively small company based out of Asia, we have an email server set up there that works fine, but it's slow and sometimes problematic for the few of us in America, is it possible to get another server in America that "extends" the original server and if so how? We're thinking of getting a second U.S. Domain but we'd prefer to be able to use the same domain name for all our email accounts.

The last time I used it before I sold it it was working. I don't know when they started having the issue but the fact that they are just informing me now I don't wanna refund them. If it had been the week of that they told me I'd be ok.Schmattakopf said:It doesn't sound like you know very much about what happened. kurtrussell said:Hello, Gaf. I would like to sell games.
Initially, I'd do this as a hobby with a view to eventually making it my full time gig. I'd probably like to test the water by selling online first with the ultimate aim of going bricks and mortar.
I have a reasonable amount of seed capital saved and available so I don't necessarily need to try and get any sort of credit terms and I would be able to purchase a decent MOQ.
My question: How do I hook up with a wholesaler willing to sell me a quantity of games at a price that would enable me to make a decent enough profit margin (as I'm just experimenting at the moment, I have absolutely no clue as to what margins are considered acceptable / standard). I've trawled through various wholesale forums etc but I've not found many suppliers willing to deal with me, unless I want to order everything in from Hong Kong :-\
Primarily, I'd love to know of any EU based wholesaler. NA/JA might also be an option as I'd be very interested to carve out an import "niche", but obviously, it'd need to be a wholesaler willing to retail to the EU. I'd rather steer clear of pre-owned titles until I have a physical sales and storage space, but would also consider looking at wholesale pre-owned stuff.
Can you help me, Gaf?
AMUSIX is the poster you're looking for, there's a thread dedicated to his awesome store somewhere.FlightOfHeaven said:There's a guy on GAF who started his own, swanky gaming retail store. He stated that it was a) really hard, b) not profitable and c), REALLY HARD.
Don't remember his name, though.

Then I would definitely tell your mother that before you tell them that.Baconbitz said:The last time I used it before I sold it it was working. Dear Sir or Madam
My name is xxxxxx and I am currently a 5th year med-student at the xxxxx Medical School in xxxxx. During the 6th year of our syllabus we are given the opportunity to apply to exchange programs overseas as part of an elective program which can last from 3 to 6 months. I am highly interested in spending said elective rotation period at (UNIVERSITY) and continue developing my clinical skills in any of your partner hospitals, being one of my main interests the branch of paediatrics. I would like to know who should I contact in order to see the possibility of said clinical rotation with you and continue building this project.
Thank you for your attention

Note that this is not my formal application so I dont need to add a résumé or stuff like that. Any advice is welcome.
Thoughts?

It's family; you're probably better off just refunding it.Baconbitz said:The last time I used it before I sold it it was working. It depends on the type of tutoring, your level of knowledge, and the people you expect to tutor. There are probably community centers and schools you can contact. Flyers are great.Professor Beef said:I've been tinkering with the possibility of becoming a tutor. The problem is that I'm not sure how I would go about being one. There Are Monstersthe_log_ride said:I remember there was a thread posted a while back about a scary youtube short. I remember the opening scene showed a woman and her husband in their house. She was washing dishes or cooking in the kitchen, and she kind of gazes out the window from time to time. She sees a little girl out in the woods wandering around. I think there were other scenes within that video, but it may have concluded again with that first couple, and the little girl makes another appearance. I can't remember what it was called, and I'm about to give up searching for it.
For whatever reason, I remember it being called something like, "real life monsters" or "everyday monsters" or something.
