I'm not a mod or anything, but I'm pretty sure if the rules changed again they'd tell us. Presumably they think it was up there long enough that we know the new rules now.

It would be nice if they'd update the TOS and/or the posting rules in the etiquette post to reflect those new rules.

Is there a good way to receive email from 2 gmail accounts in 1 gmail inbox? Right now I use POP3 and it takes like an hour before I see the email from the secondary account show up in my gmail. It's odd to me because I set up both gmail accounts to foward to my iPod Touch's mail app and the mail always shows up there way sooner.
 
Edited question: Anyone have any ideas for presents $30 or less? Not necessarily related to gaming, and nothing that has to be ordered off the internet. Anything at all here, I'm just looking for general ideas.

I use the built in option and it works fine for me (or at least, I've never noticed any explicit lag, but then again I don't check the 2nd account often to see if its updating the primary account frequently enough). Anyways, to do you log into the account you want the email forwarded from and click the gear icon at the top of the gmail page and choose mail settings, then click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab. There's a button right at the top that says "Add a forwarding address." Click on it and enter the email address you want to forward the email to. I think there's a Save Changes button you have to click at the bottom, and then I'm pretty sure you have to log into the other email account to verify the forwarding.

Is there a mac equivalent of MS PAINT, i got that Paintbrush app and it was shit. can't paste in anything which kind sucks .. please help

I can't remember the name or any actors of this horror movie, but I remember some slight details. It's sort of old, I think. Anyway, there's like an epidemic (plague) of some sort, and a bunch of people have taken refugee inside a church. There's a woman who has visions or a feeling that the devil may be released soon. There's infected people inside the church and if they get bitten, they turn into these zombie-like things. At the end of the movie, the woman who has these visions jumps inside a mirror to prevent the devil from escaping since he can be seen inside of it.

More details I remember:

There's a black man who is stuck in a room with an infected woman who is mutating into like a demon thing while some people are trying to destroy their way in to save him. There was also a monk (?) who kept saying spells or something.
 
My girlfriend gave me money to buy her a laptop since I have my edu email and she doesn't yet and she wants the free 360. Her only preference for the laptop was to adequate enough to run Sims 3 and be around $800 with tax.

I did a lot of research and despite some other nice options they either were too expensive or were on a site that didn't offer the 360 so I kept coming back to this.

It is cheap enough and has some nice extras like a blu-ray drive.
The only problem is that I just don't know enough about the processor and video card to know if it is a good deal. Can someone offer some guidance?

Prince of Darkness? Sounds a little similar. But if that's not it, you should check it out anyway.

Awesome movie. Ending gives me the chills to this day.

I'm not sure about AMD processors in laptops, but I have an AMD six-core in my PC, and I love it. The GPU (video card) is alright from what I can see.

I'd also post this in the Gamer-approved laptop recommendation thread. I'm sure they can give you better advice than I can.

You can try restarting with it plugged in, but since its a specific hardware it likely has its own drivers that you were supposed to install.
 
I never downloaded a digital copy of a movie from iTunes, I just did it with my LOTR: Extended Edition. I want to watch them on my iPad(for the go).

If I want to re-download them from my account on a different computer, will I have to redeem the code again or will it be on my iTunes account?

Also, can I sync it to multiple devices like my iPad and the iPhone or once you sync it, will it expire?

According to the store description, it's a normal BT and doesn't require any specific drivers. I tried restarting, but I'm guessing that they sold me a lemon. Dammit.
 
I'm trying to remember a book that had creepy stories in it from when I was younger (early 90s). The cover had a like a group of kids on it, if I remember correctly. Some of the stories I (vaguely) remember:

A kid's dog gets run over and comes back to life - a girl is hit as she crosses the street and as she is an apparition, she sees the whole scene below her - and for some reason, I want to say there was a story about a fire?

If anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Verbose means unnecessarily wordy, pedantic speech. So I'm not sure what you mean. Pompous? Pretentious? Ostentatious?

I think it could mean deliberately doing it to make your point difficult to understand. I'm not sure :/

I know there's a word for it, I just cant remember for the life of me and it's getting right on my nerves.
