What's the longest you should keep older bank statements? Should I just keep the six latest bank statements and shred the rest?

Why are you still keeping hard copies of your bank statements?

Before switching to online I'd keep 3 years of statements cuz that's how far back the IRS would audit in most cases.

Is there a name for the phenomenon of many people singing badly sounding great together?
I always wonder about this whenever I hear crowds at live concerts. Individually, they mostly sound like shit, as a whole it sounds wonderful....
Chorus effect seems like a suitable description.
A chorus effect occurs when individual sounds with roughly the same timbre and nearly (but never exactly) the same pitch converge and are perceived as one.
With enough voices you will always end up finding the middle ground where it doesn't sound bad.

My hands shaked a lot more when I smoked. Quit smoking 3 months ago and i have a lot less shaking. I hear coffee isn't good for it either. Do you do either of these things?
I don't drink coffee, smoke or do any sort of drugs.

Linkhero1 said:
No, the shaking isn't that bad. Could it be from soda? I do drink a lot of Sunkist.

Even if it's not from that, stop drinking that poison. It's unhealthy and has little nutritional value.

Soda is poison.

Possibly. What's a lot? Three 375mL cans would be ~150g of added sugar just from the Sunkist. It could also simply be an inexplicable tremor.

I honestly don't know how much of it I drink. Probably 2 glasses a day. I think I'll stop and see if there's an improvement. If not, I'll ask my doctor the next time I have an appointment. I appreciate the help guys.

how stupid does a question have to be to not deserve its own thread

i argue that stupidity is not the factor at play
Ya, I think this thread is more for questions that can be answered by one post.

Okay, important question that I´m investigating for a story I write, but google fails me:

Are there objective circumstances under which an abortion is impossible? Other than noticing a pregnancy too late to do it. I´m not talking about moral or philosophical stuff, but scientific, objective reasons where a woman that just found out being pregnant would be told by doctors "We´re sorry, but you cannot abort this baby".

Are there such circumstances or is an abortion always possible?

An abortion is always technically possible. It may still be illegal in some countries, and there are both physical and mental side effects.

I've been going over it in my head for about five minutes, from anything to mirroring syndromes to anything else, and I can't come up with a good reason why there would ever be a need to birth a baby in due time. Even if there were such a thing, the mother would die at parturition, seen how the only way someone would say "you can't abort this" would be if it would also kill the mother.

Well the two best drinks imo are cold tea and hot tea and cold tea > hot tea so I guess I'd say cold drink on a hot day. Besides, if you're cold it feels better to sit under a blank it and wear warm clothes. Can't really do much more to help cool down when you're hot than sit in front of a fan or a/c so I think a cold drink is a bit more satisfying.

Hm, so there´s no immediate reason that could put a to-be-mother in great danger if she had an abortion? Dunno, some kind of medical imbalance, som kind of physical overreaction to stuff that´s used during the execution of an abortion?

Can I buy a smartphone, say a Droid, and not use a data plan (verizon)?

I just want one for surfing on my wifi network only.
As far as I'm aware, no.

My only thought is maybe you could find a smartphone that's not exclusively sold by a mobile provider (i.e. Droid is only sold by Verizon), buy it separately (at a higher cost), then try to register it with just a voice plan. Still probably not.

If you hover over the top right corner of the posts on your wall, what does it say?

Only thing I can think of is if there's some sort of blood disorder that would prevent clotting.

Of course she probably wouldn't make it through child birth either if that's the case.

I am taking a stats class that has this book listed as required. What i'm wondering is if there are free or cheaper resources for learning and using spss for windows that I could use instead of purchasing this book.

How are those porn films based on franchises made? I can't imagine anyone allowing them to use the IP, but they're real companies, so I don't see how they can get away with just doing it while infringing on copyright.

To be very clear, I mean like the porn versions of Avatar, or LotR etc.

I think they get listed as satire or something.

Found this reply on the Batman: AA Steam forums and how do you look around Steam's registry?

"Just a heads up, Arkham City had its entry added to Steam's registry today, instead of the placeholder Batman: Arkham 2 one, it actually says Batman: Arkham City, and there is also a separate listing for a retail version. (Which i would only imagine they would do for Steamworks games, so i'm not sure what's going on.)"

Ok, another stupid question:

I'm on a Boot Camp Macbook Pro right now. What's driving me BANANAS is that the Command Key is now the Windows key which works entirely differently from the Control key. I want to swap the Control and Windows key functions on my keyboard while in Windows mode.

How do I go about this without resorting to shady programs? :(

i shit once a day and i have a very fast metabolism

The only thing high metabolism would correlate to more shitting is the fact that they eat more. But it's not much. I'd guess the extremes vary with some hundred kcals each way, compared to their weight.

And metabolism rate has nothing to do with passage time.

So no.
