Could someone explain to me how Juggalo's came to be?

I think one of the members of ICP threw the term out during a show and it stuck. As far as how the movement started, it was a bunch of mostly white, poor disaffected youth latching onto something to rebel, or feel part of something. Happens with every generation. As far as I know, a lot of Juggalos don't even know what ICP is. It's something to belong to.

I'd rather discuss the perfection of your avatar. It's beautiful.

edit: ugh. Auto-rotating? I hate that shit. I was talking about the black and white one with the blond looking to her right with a beach scene in the bg.

Que? Oh it was.... thought that was switched...

Fake Edit: Better? ;)

There really can't be, since it's a physical property of the screen they're using.

thought so...anything that comes close, ayway? But I guess you already answered

Wait, wasn't there a nintendo-produced video that showed a few examples?

couldn't find it...At forst I thought that Looksley game would be similar, but people said it's completely different

I thought I saw an X box 360 memory upgrade that was a scan disk and plugged into the USB port of the X box. I thought it said 4 GB anyone ever see one of these? And Know were to buy one?

You don't need to go with an Xbox-branded drive...

Are thinking in terms of RAM? Because I don't believe that is available. Any flash drive up to 16 GB will work for expanded storage space.

Why is iTunes such a piece of shit? Seriously, how can such a widely used piece of software be such a complete fucking disaster?

Some sort of angel or fairy just visited my kitchen:

Why the hell did god hard-wire us in such a way that when you do that anal-clenching move, your cock does a little low-rider display?

I hate this

You are going to have to rephrase that question, Corky. Your meaning isn't immediately clear - although perhaps that's for the best.

Does anyone remember that story that was posted online probably around 8 years ago about a guy spelunking in some evil possessed cave or something? I ask here because I remember it was posted as a thread in GAF back then. It was written as though in blog form, with various dated entries, and the last entry having the guy supposedly being drawn inexorably back to the cave to his doom. It was a pretty entertaining read, but now that I try to look for it again, I can't seem to find it.

What is the best free web development application?

What type? For What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) applications, I can't help you, but I can recommend Dreamweaver over Frontpage.

In terms of simple, clean text editors:
- Notepad -- Bare minimum. Nothing special.
- Winsyntax -- Syntax highlighting. My choice.
- Editpad
- Notepad2
- Notepad++ -- I use this more than Winsyntax now, mostly because it's still supported.

I guess since I am delving into this for the first time, I guess notepad is not something I should start with. I am using Ubuntu and looking at WYSIWYG apps and have come across Eclipse

But there are multiple options for eclipse such as PHP, Java, C++, classic, etc. As it is brand new to me, I would like to jump into the one that is most popular. Which should I look at? Java is on the way out, right?

This was posted in the "Piss in my asshole. Goddammit." thread before it got locked. What is this picture trying to explain to me?
Before you poo, put a bunch of toilet roll in first so the turd doesn't create splash back

I just rewatched Constantine the other day and I noticed some things that didn't really hit me the first couple of times.

1)At the end when Constantine requests the sister be allowed to "go home" how is the devil able to do this? She killed herself. She isn't allowed in heaven. Satan has no reign over heaven so how can he move her up there? I'm sure he could release her from hell and send her to purgatory, but sending her "home" seems like it would be outside the realm of his abilities. I guess it's just a plot hole with no real answer.

2)I don't get how the worst case scenario and the thing that would bring hell on earth was the coming of Satan's son. Full-blooded demons were already able to invade our realm. Looking at the scene where all the lights go out in the street it's apparently a lot too. Midnight said this was impossible, but they were there anyway. Anyone read the comic? It seemed like what they were fighting against was already happening. Was this supposed to stop once the son lost the lance?

I can't answer either question but I can say Constantine is a cool movie and highly underrated. And the part where Constantine tries to do that crazy spell and align the tattoos on his arms is incredibly awesome.

Yeah it was. I love stuff like that based on Christian mythology. If Dogma were darker, more serious in tone, and had a higher budget/better effects it'd be one of the best movies ever.

How large of a shit do you need to take for it to splash like that :S
Quite the opposite sometimes, if it's long, usually no splash. If it's thick and short (i.e. doesn't touch the water until it comes out) than the splash will be horrible. Depends on the toilet as well, I suppose.

For beginner web development you won't need PHP yet, if you even decide to learn web scripting. You typically won't use C++ or Java for online applications nowadays. (Java is used sometimes.)

I have used Eclipse before, and it was rather good. Just stick to HTML for now, go through W3schools' HTML and CSS tutorials. This is how I learned the basics.

If a watch is water resistant up to 99 feet what exactly does that mean? That up to 99 feet the chances are slim that water will damage it and that after 99 feet it'll break?

It will be ok if it gets wet from swimming etc. Wouldn't go diving with it though - unless it's waterproof they aren't really designed to be exposed for very long.

Splitting an atom causes a huge explosion, right? I know atoms are tiny, but how come of all the impacts that occur every day, atoms are not damaged by them? I mean...an asteroid collision, an explosion, a car crash etc... you would think that there is at least a billion to one chance that a large impact could cause an atom to be damaged ???

You're thinking matter/antimatter collision. Or maybe of nuclear weapons.

In nuclear weapons (old ones, anyway), unstable elements were used so that atoms splitting would cause a massive chain reaction of splitting atoms, eventually producing a huge blast.

Generally, a single fissioning atom won't cause an explosion--though it will give off high energy particles.

There's a song by Moby, featuring Gwen Steffani, with the lyrics "see myself in the pouring home" and "here we are in the pouring home". The pouring home? What the fuck is he talking about?

Because what you are thinking of as "a lot of force" is not even close to being a lot of force.

From a physics perspective, when you touch a "solid" object, the force you are experiencing is electromagnetic force. The electrons in your body are repelled by the electrons in the
"solid" object. All of the examples you describe -- punching a wall, car crash, asteroid collision -- have nowhere near the amount of force required to overcome EM repulsion. In those scenarios, the macroscopic effects you see -- broken hand, wrecked car, lots of little chunks of rock floating around -- don't even come close to affecting anything at the atomic nuclear level. (Also, "solid" is in quotes because most of what we call solid is technically empty space. An atom has a nucleus, but most of its "volume" is the electron cloud around it. At any given instant, most of that volume is unoccupied.)

There are high-energy particles flying throughout the universe all the time, but most of them are called "cosmic rays." They are high-energy photons, which are massless. They can't interact with nuclei in the way that you are thinking about.

Does anyone have that comic where some guy is chatting with a girl on the internet and it chronicles their blossoming relationship in which it turns out to be this almost heart wrenching dream of a very desperate and lonely guy lying in his bed? [/runonsentence]
