Maybe it's because I don't consider infidelity the end of the world (it's only natural to want to bone everything, after all), but anyway I read the OP heading and simply read the excerpt not carefully so came to the conclusion she built this $12,000,000 home, didn't like it and demolished it, to build a new $12,000,000 home. That's not quite as bad. Either way, though, if you buy a $12,000,000 home, you don't do it to simply use the land its on to build a new one. At least, no smart person does. That does suggest an extremely finicky nature that would be hard to deal with in a relationship.

Of course, most of these types of threads about celebrities rely somewhat on making conclusions based on small bits of actual behavioral evidence, so I'll choose to think she's probably a difficult one to deal with. Probably pretty close to the truth, I bet.

Not that it makes cheating on her right. He should have just dumped her or been in an open relationship.

You do if you have the means and you want to do something else with the property or put in other things such as courts, pools, pool houses.

Well other things like business or community wise, yeah. But if you're using it as a living space? That is pretty odd. Not unheard of for the super rich, but I'd consider that dumb for any rich person or poor person. Just silly. Go buy land you're attracted to without a 12 million dollar home on it... save yourself a little money for God's sake :P

I find it ridiculous too but this whole thread seems like a reason to shit on her specifically when plenty of rich assholes do this. Why aren't we talking about them?

She stuck with that negro after she found out he was tippin. In the end, she couldn't come back home, like many other spouses who've been cheated on. Fuck Tiger Woods.

Though this move seemed batshit crazy. Maybe she just really liked the location but hated the home? It's not like she doesn't have money to burn. She can bank that and live purely off the interest that money generates.

surely there is more to the story...she just blew through 12% of her divorce settlement in one fell swoop. just doesn't make any sense.
 
Now she has to hire another architect, interior designer, contractor. She has to pay for more inspections. She'll probably put in a pool so she has to hire someone for that. This woman is creating JOBS!

It's a pretty silly assumption that there are plots of land that big just sitting where she wants to live.
