Yomo finally became a no face like Uta.

Literally SoulBrothers.

But no really, I hope he gets up from this. Uta grew back his face no problem and Yomo was supposedly on par with back in the day. He should have the same kind of absurd regeneration. Gonna cling to every glimmer of hope I can get. ;_;


Kaneki really dropped the ball with Furuta. Should have tried to finish him then and there, considering what he knows about him.

furuta is basically pretending to be a weak CCG (or not very strong) employee, he's not really going to beat up Kaneki and Hinami which are both SS rank ghouls without breaking a sweat nor is he going to let them go, it's basically the best outcome considering his role and his position, and especially if he wants to let them leave

his fight matches his clown personality really well too, which was one thing I liked

maybe furuta had no intentions of actually putting up a legit fight. afterall there are cameras around so if he just lets kaneki walk he'd get in real shit with the ccg over it but by doing what he did they can't really get upset at him and he'll be able to continue what he's doing.

Yeah didn't think of that while typing. He had no choice but to do his job as a ccg member. I guess we'll have to wait and see what he's up to. I still can't make his true allegiances, it shouldn't be with V though, but is it truly with Kanou? Maybe I need to go back and reread. He let that recording slip and if he did let ken go on purpose, then he has big plans for him.

yeah he has his own personal agenda, because during the time he's working with Kanou it wasn't for V nor Aogiri, both of those were still looking for Kanou/Rize at the time, or else V/CCG wouldn't take so long to track them down.

He was working with Kanou for unknown reason

This is what makes this man so god damn scary!! Dude is playing every god damn faction that we've met. Who's side is he actually on, or is it that he is only in it for himself!? I'm dying to find out
 
i asked Anteater this before but what do you guys think of Eto's comment about wanting to make a world where ghouls don't have to hide who they are? Do you think she's genuine about wanting to create a world where both ghouls and humans can live alongside each other, or does she want ghouls to be #1 since survival of the fittest and all? I think she actually wants to create a world where both can live alongside each other even if she's going about it in a very extreme way. Her becoming a famous author and those books, especially the last one are her making big steps into accomplishing her goals.
 
oh man I just checked Touka's mother's wiki page, Arima killed her too and used her kagune against renji!? Oh man, I can't stand for this. Tears of joy will be shed when Arima is finally taken down, there will be vengeance, just you wait.

Eto <3 I honestly don't know her true intentions if only because she has shown she doesn't give a flying fuck about humans. I think her books were more geared for ghouls as a cry for unification against humans.

Yeah it seems that way, and realistically, I don't think its possible for ghouls to overtake the human populace due to being vastly outnumbered...wait, thats basically V. Well... I don't think its possible to nearly annihilate all humans or take over the world. Not even sure how big V is.

But back to the point, Ishida seems to have tried to redeem her character and give a noble cause behind all her destruction. But this same person tortured Karen/Kanae and seems to display little emotion for the lives of many. But...this same person seemed to geniunely care for her editor. I like her character a lot for sure, but she sure is an asshole, lol. But when your life was shit from the start its not hard to see why she is.

what makes me think that she's genuine about her comment was when she went public about being a ghoul. Why would you do this? just cause the CCG caught you? she wants to rile people up, people will begin to analyze the book and her other pieces of work too now that they know who she is. A ghoul, the people that everyone is so afraid created these books that people loved for years.

also like Eios pointed out, she was honestly upset when she found out her editor was killed.

Remember Tsukiyama's father? He didn't hurt anyone during that arc and handed himself in too until :re broke him out, he got a shit ton of money and connection in the society, he's going to play a role

yea, he also strikes me as someone who isn't about that hardcore ghoul life, the Ysukiyama household is probably one of the most human character's we've seen throughout the series imo.

Oh damn, that was hype!!! Was wondering if Ishida would not go the route of Kaneki saving yomo, but was expecting that after the nice yomo + kaneki page. Yomo's kagune was impressive. Ah man, I just want the next chapter already!!! Also Arata is so similar to Kaneki, wow. Besides hints we already got in the first series from ayato, it only reinforces pairings for kaneki and touka.
 
Man, those Arata and Kaneki parallels. Yomo's guilt trip. Everyone giving their all against the tyrant. This chapter was too emotional.

Incredibly excited for next chapter. God knows how much I want to see Arima in the ground, but I doubt it. But still, please. ;_;

Yeah I love that, Ayato said he hated Kaneki because he reminded him of his dad, now Kaneki is here to save their whole family lol

I hope the Kirishima family is gonna convince Kaneki to live rather than continuing his silly suicide mission, I'm sure Kaneki is gonna make them leave and fight Arima alone tho

I can't wait to find out what kind of person Arima really is. He looks a little sad, maybe that's my imagination.
 
I read the chapter, I have no idea what happened in the end.

Is that Arata? And did he destroy Arima's weapon? And what happened in the very last page?

Edit: Found a page by page summary. Ha, this is insane. Arata, Kaneki and Ayato look so similar...

This chapter was a rollercoaster:

- The dread of even opening it in fear of seeing dead Yomo.

- The immediate relief that he's not yet dead.

-The rising apprehension at the unholy amount of death flags he amassed during this chapter alone.

-Oh God there's no coming back from this.

- !!!

- Have my babies Ken.

So I guess this confirms Narukami was made out of Hikari. I guess Touka too has the potential to mount a literal laser cannon on her back.

Great chapter. I've been waiting long time for more Yomo stuff.

Shit shit shit! So Renji unleashed his kagune but that was Kaneki at the end right? Although Arima's reign of terror needs to stop, I don't actually want to see him dead. His one of the only humans shown that Ghouls just cannot mess with.

Ahh, not enough!!! Need more!!!! In my veins NOW!!!! That chapter was so good but felt like the shortest chapter yet. I know it was 18 pages, but it was too good. I had to calm myself down after seeing the first two pages, hype levels were too high.

Its Arima's passive skill.

The Reaper's Soil: Enemies within a 30-meter radius automatically start sweating when alerted to your presence. Enemies lose 1 stamina per second. When their stamina pools deplete, they start losing 1 health per second.

Also, Arima dropping narukami was given two panels- has to have some sort of significance. His blind spot is on his right.

Gonna take two guesses here, not wild guesses by any measure:

Kaneki kills/defeats Arima or Amon helps Kaneki- but, Amon may actually be on Rue. I'm scared of Furuta, know he's gonna pull something on Hinami's group.

EDIT: Holy shit just thought, what if Arima does end here and the next major antagonist is Amon. "How does the world reflect in those eyes which once harbored justice itself?" I know its a short span for Amon to overtake Armia but he was pretty hyped up. And if Kaneki can do it, sure as hell Amon can.But Amon hasn't been killing CCG so I don't know. If Arima does lose I think it will be because he lets Ken win.
