Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Special Edition - $79.99 | Best Buy US pre-orders back up

Yeah it sucks :/ I wish they trained their warehouse guys to put collectible items in boxes, but they probably just tell them "small size go in mailer". This one looks small too, if it's identical to the Japanese one, so YES it will be in a mailer. Keep that in mind...

I believe Amazon lists a suggested package that they are supposed to use so it's not up to the actual person packing the item. At least that's what I've read somewhere (CAG?)

They dont but to cancel you have to actually call them up and be on hold for a good amount of time. Can't cancel online afaik.
What? yes you can. You can't modify/cancel orders through the mobile version of the website but you can change card info or cancel on the full version of the website.

I've had friends preorder stuff for me before and in the last 3 cases (albeit not in the last 3 months) they had to call to cancel as it didn't let them do it on the website. I haven't ordered myself as they don't accept payment methods from outside USA (This is checked myself).

I've never had any trouble cancelling anything on their website for as long as I can remember.

Had to pre-order off GS's website. I will be at Uni all day tomorrow and might miss the Amazon pre-order window and won't have a chance to stop by my local GS to put an order down.

Just entered my order on Gamestop. When Nintendo means limited, its limited. And the fact that only 2 retailers are getting it... yeah, not running the risk here.

Was there much of a consensus on how good the story in this game was? Like...I trust Atlus a lot after SMT and Persona. Even if this is second tier Shin Megami quality, I'd probably dig it.

The game was critically acclaimed. The problem is the idol content. If you have an issue with idol culture you'll not like the game.

It's more about the Japanese entertainment industry, not just idols. There are a lot more disciplines represented in the game than just idols.

Looks like the bog standard niche JRPG LE, complete with an 8 page artbook, a CD with a few songs on it, and some stickers. Only thing of added value in there is the DLC, but that's only worth $10.

Disappointing how it's usually either this or a $200 LE with a low quality figurine. =/

As more and more time goes by I'm starting to think amazon wont be selling the SE, damn i was hoping to get that discount and free shipping

I hope that's not true, was thinking there might still be a good rpg behind the idol and jpop stuff (which I can't stand)...

He says in what you're quoting it's a good RPG. You're just probably not going to enjoy playing an RPG for 30 hours steeped in idol culture if you can't stand idol culture.

I think you are asking for 2 different things. I mean if you are going by the amount of time spent that is.

Oh I'm not talking about #FE having to also be 200+ hours of gameplay. I just meant, if I can spend the entire time I play #FE happy, be it 20-50 hours or whatever, I'll be fine. I expect it at this point. I've been eagerly awaiting this game ever since it was re-revealed.
