Tom Clancy's The Division - Ubisoft + Massive, MMO Open World TPS RPG

so they scrapped Rainbow Six and made this :(

don't get me wrong i like it and looks great
i just really wanted my rainbow six ,time to wait again

cant wait for this

I hope it comes to pc. I know they said that it was for xbone and ps4, but every mmo should be at least be on pc.

Either way, it looks fantastic, will bey regardless if it's on pc or in the ps4.

Man Ubisoft is really bringing it this year. I can't wait to get more information on the game it really has me excited for next gen.

This and Destiny might have been my favorite games shown so far, along with the Crew. All have interesting concepts that look great and fun in demos. We'll see how it gets pulled off when the game is released though.

Jesus Christ

Yup, this is the level of visual fidelity I expected from next gen. Didn't expect it to come from Ubisoft though.

Even if it does come to PC then we are forced to use UPlay.

I am intrigued though, game does look quite compelling.

The Youtube links in the OP are broken, they bring you to the game, 'The Crew'

Here are the new links

This is running on a custom engine that has been made in-house at Massive Entertainment called Snow Drop.

They need to farm this shit out to anyone who wants it. This is what games should look like next gen.

Two years in a row now Ubisoft has surprised me with my personal Game of the Show.

Here's my take on what the multiplayer will be:

It will not be an MMO in the sense of a couple hundred people per area where everyone logs into the same world. You'll likely have 50-75 people in the entire city and as these areas fill up a new instance of the city will be created and that will fill up. It will likely be an open world game where the entire city is loaded into memory at once without any other loading screens. Very much like what we know about how Destiny works.

Just sooooo sexy... I'm seeing in my head... 3 of my best friends and I playing this on the regular and just getting crazy tight knit and good at what we do via a team of 4. And just squashing randoms we run into. I can't believe today is the first i'm hearing of this game.

Was adamant i was going to hold out on buying into next gen consoles for at least a year but I just preordered a PS4 because of this game. I hope you're happy Ubisoft.

Love that map hologram on the ground. This was the best of the day for me, the smoothness and detail were next-gen inspiring.

Awesome showing, contender for game of the show. Not too much RPG stuff though. I wonder if calling it an online RPG is code for it will have a monthly charge.

This was amazing, the detail level is great and the concept is really promising. Easily game of the show so far imo. This is what I expect to see from next gen!

Ubisoft's studios pump out some incredible animation. So many little details and characters move so smoothly. The shooting looks/sounds a bit weak for my taste (except for the effect when he shot the car windshield), just like nearly every other shooter at the show, but the movement animation is top top top notch. The visuals are also really great.

Holy shit. This looks a lot better than I expected and should be the go-to game to showcase next-gen graphics. This is what I've been waiting for graphically and the gameplay is right up my alley.

The SOCOM fan in me mixed with the general Tom Clancy fan in me has me extremely excited for this one.

Massive Entertainment :bow

it's their first time tackling a shooter though so i hope it plays well.

it looks incredibly ambitious in the same way Assassins Creed 1 did when they revealed that so i really hope ubisoft delivers this time.

looks nice graphically, but I soemehow thought the gameplay would be different when I heard RPG. looked like a shooter to me in the conference, not really interested
