Unfortunately, Funimation caught on to people enjoying the bleeps a bit too much so around Episode 8 or so, they started changing the dialogue to be bleep-free.

Though the brutality was all intact. Thanks America!

Not that kind of edited dialogue.
It wasn't "Yippie-kay-yay Melon Farmer" or "This is what happens when you find a stranger in the alps!" It was just normal dialogue but less "spicy".

Since everyone was getting on Gucci about TMNT 2012, I watched the first ep.

I suppose I could say that it's Teenage Mutant Ninja Titans. Michealangelo sounds like a dead ringer for Beast Boy.

EDIT: Probably because he IS Beast Boy.

Same voice actor, Greg Cipes.
Leo is Jason Biggs (in his most consistent role since American Pie), Raph is Sean Astin, and Don is Rob Paulsen (fun fact: Rob Paulsen played Raph in the 1987 series, using the exact same voice).

It's not just the teeth that's off about the Bay Turtles, it's EVERYTHING. The 2012 series turtles don't look off at all with teeth.

Well the Nick cartoons artstyle can get away with it. It just looks jarring when it's supposed to look like something that is in "real life".

Yeah? Where are you? The earthquakes have been kinda heavy in all sorts of places. I guess the good thing is its gotten the family to be more serious about keeping up to date supplies and plenty of water.

You know the whole "I have a new big brother when my mom/dad got remarried" is a stupid in anime its 10x stupid in live action. You aren't related by blood, its not incest, get over it.

And yes I understand that often times they do the "not really bro/sis or related" to get past censorship, but still that should happen when the characters are very young so they still grow up together. The trailer makes them look like their parents got married when they were in their teens. The guy might as well date a random girl from school who likes to roleplay as a sibling cause thats basically what this is.

Uggh I saw that trailer a couple weeks back and I had tried to block it out of my mind. The anime (from the episode I watched of it) strayed stupidly close to just being a flat out hentai. Silly censorship, that I imagine will go away once it is out on blu-ray, is all that stood in its way of being so.

A live action version is no less ridiculous and looks very much like it is, at its base, pretty much a softcore porn.
