Bleach did bring the ratings, I'd just schedule more Kai if all I cared about was maximizing ratings. SAO does about as well as most other shows on the block in its time slot.
SAO 2 has generally outperformed One Piece which had the 1:00 slot this time last year and the first season exploded in popularity; people forget that it was the only reason we had quint-millions in 2013 when IGPX, SBT, and even an EVA movie couldn't match what it pulled in on average. That was a show a 2AM pulling in 850K+ on average every night although you could argue that it aired during peak viewing season when everything gets a bump. Surprisingly enough, I'm pretty sure Black Lagoon has had the best ratings in that slot when it got moved to 2AM near the end of its run for poor performance earlier on the block.

That's why I said most. One Piece isn't nearly as popular as alot of other shows on the block, which I find quite sad.

Equal opportunity fanservice vs a shounen power up based on fanservice. KLK at least has some reason for it being in there most of the time. Punchline includes it just to get views and the whole panty thing could easily be swapped out for almost anything else and the main story would still work.

Man if the Dub for Blood Blockade Battlefront turns out really great, then we're looking at a real gem here. It would be a great fit for Toonami because of its New York City setting and much of it's western influence. That's Nightow the creator of Trigun for ya, a true western fan. Though I hope Funimation doesn't screw up with this.

The actual story has some promise, it just loses all impact they try to build up. The faction stuff could have been hilarious too, it just isn't their either. At least it looks good?

Of part 1? Understandable as thats 99% set up, part 1 really doesn't get underway until end of episode 2/start of episode 3
This is EXACTLY what I feared. Part 1/Phantom Blood isn't BAD, but when you get to the later parts, it feels so...."average" in comparison. & it takes a few episodes for the more interesting stuff of that Part to kick in.Guys, what if I watched one episode of JoJo..

It's more of a set-up for Part 2 & 3, both of which are completely different. Thankfully, Part 1 is only 9 episodes long while Part 2 (which has a much better "first" episode) is about 15 episodes.
