"good" adaptation was the wrong terminology
an "accurate" adaptation would be better. I wanna see an ancient city with an ancient god king fighting a giant bull brought down from heaven. Most generally take the story and apply it to another universe, but I want it to go full on ancient world

Is that the one about that dude with a huge sword and weird armor? I think I watched a few episodes of the anime last week and it was pretty cool, although dated.
Anime is ok but the manga is a masterpiece. Some of the best art in manga as well!

Berserk anime either of them is just a small taste of the greatness that is Berserk, if you haven't read it go read it!
Just give it until the principal shows up, shit gets realer than real on the regular, over the smallest things, after she shows up. The whole manga changes its tone a bit after she appears.

Already said it for me. Probably the only manga I care to read.
I also hear great things about the Jojo manga, but I'd rather just watch the anime for that.
I gotta agree with this. The art style just adds to the hilarity in how damn realistic it tries to be at times.
Trying to figure my summer out. I need to register for a second class in order for financial aid to cover the semester since it over usually covers Spring & Fall. But with some recent events, I think I'm gonna have to get another part-time job. I think the college might be able to help me out with that, should discuss things with them once finals are done for the week.
I, uh, also hope to be able to plan more get-togethers with the girl my dad told me about, considering we talked for almost 2 hours over coffee last week.

I'd strongly disagree on both accounts. I really enjoyed the characters in both and the Hyouka mysteries were varied and kept me enthralled. To each his own though.
I found over the past year I moved away from action anime and I am glad I did.
I like a bunch of anime that aren't action orientated, those 2 are just really boring to me.
Prison School is legitimately one of the most entertaining things I've ever read. Also, Mushishi is one of my favorite animes.

Nah, those shows, good as I'm sure they are, wouldn't do good on Toonami.

FMP and the other listed shows have shot.I stated it before in this(?) thread but I just want to repeat it one more time, Future Diary is pretty close to the second coming of DMWL. The reactions alone would be glorious.
Adult swim just aired a bump addressing Dragon Ball Super. Got a chuckle out of me.

Prison School is very lewd but it just works so well. Unlike a lot of other manga/anime where the fanservice gets in the way or is just a way to pander to teenagers too young to buy porn or know where to find it online, the lewdness in Prison School is part of the humor and works to its advantage somehow. It starts a bit slow but damn does it get good <3
Considering the crap that's already on or been on Toonami, Future Diary seems like the show the block deserves
Fumoffu and Second Raid are excellent for totally different reasons but honestly the first Full Metal Panic series is pretty pedestrian.
I think he recognizes that which is why he said "won't come to Toonami"
Also Code Geass has already been on Adult Swim. I figure it would do better now than it did in the past but the people running Toonami may be hesitant to try something that has already bombed
