Toonami |MayJun17| WE ARE ROBOTS

Jojo's descendants are all hooligans who disrespect their parents, get into fights with lawful authority figures, hang out with disreputable people like mobsters and Nazis, make satanic pacts with invisible punch ghosts.

Meanwhile OG Jim Jam is a gentleman who turns his breath into light based energy to fry vampires and zombies. Literally does god's work. His only sin in life was to hang out with Speedwagon, whom he tried and failed to get off of the path to hell.
How did he fail to get Speedwagon off the path to hell, he became a rich oil tycoon who's company helped combat supernatural threats if anything Jonathan succeeded in turning Speedwagon into a proper citzen of society

Speedwagon collaborated with Nazis and helped a known war criminal get away with murdering an officer during war time. He's burning in hell as we speak.

One of my friends, the first time he watched Jojo, assumed Jonathan was the villain and Dio the hero because Jojo's rich and Dio's poor, and you can't unironically have a rich guy as the main character.

he figured it out when Dio literally kicked the dog

Satan has red abs as well.

But are they hot enough to thaw a frozen arm?

Checkmate.

Berserk Manga - Ok, I'm well into the Falcon of the Millennium Empire Arc now.
Guts and Zodd teaming up to fight Emperor Ganishka
is fucking metal as hell and I never knew how much I wanted that,

showdown stuff: Forcing a guy to talk about his love for pop idol anime? Harsh.

Unicorn's a lot more tolerable in OVA form. Like, yeah no, the plot doesn't really make sense either, but the TV recuts and the group watch turn the plot from "okay whatever" to "glaringly awful". I usually glazed over when the dialogue came on and waited for the fights, sort of like watching a movie with a bad plot but great action. You can't do that with the recuts.

A lot of the praise for IBO while it was running came from how different it and Mikazuki was from Unicorn and Banagher (or most 00s Gundams for that matter), and I don't think Unicorn's plot and characters are particularly popular outside of hardcore UC fans. The most I see anybody talk about the plot, even among Gundam fans, are to make fun of Banagher and Riddhe and Full Frontal's name. Everybody sane watched it for the animation, not the plot.

Berserk Manga - Just completed the Falcon of the Millennium Empire Arc. Jesus the sense of the scale of this series is massive.
I like how Griffith's master plan essentially boiled down to literally turning the world of Berserk into a High Fantasy series lol.

I usually aim for a volume a day when reading stuff.

...unless it's engaging enough to make me binge it out of impulse.

So I'm playing Snake Pass.

Don't they look adorable folks?

Well that's weird to me, because this game is hard, and actually has a pretty surprisingly learning curve. (I believe this is purposeful based on some of the trophies. A lot of them just about you plunging to your death.)

I can't help but binge read manga

I also hate fan translations so me getting manga is usually mad expensive

Didn't know Hisoka gave up being a Hunter and serial killer clown and decided to become a pirate with casino especially since being a Monster didn't work out

Well that makes me feel a bit less crazy

Fun fact Makato power is based on a part 8 character
Well that's fucking cool.

Skull Knight has to forever hold that L. You have no idea how much that world has changed yet.
I've been blazing through Jojo part 5 on wards reading like 4 volumes a day atleast
It's on my work computer so I can't read it that fast, but I think I'm halfway done with volume 5 now.

Yeah I've been binging the manga pretty quickly. Since it was Finals Weeks at work, I actually got some overtime hours so during the late time I decided to use it to read the manga lol

I know its a little late but I'm I the only one who calls B.S on Ashi defeating an entire army by herself, even in the SJ world that seems a little out there

So my real name is a very common one in the French speaking world, and I was a very early adopter on gmail so I got my name@gmail.com. This has lead to some...issues over the past few years wherein someone signs me up for something I don't want and I get the email about it.

Ubisoft was earlier in the year and some dude had my email to his my ubi or whatever the hell that was. Luckily I do speak a little French and eventually changed everything but my country of origin to my own control before deleting it.

This morning I wake with a bit of acid reflux at around 4:30 and check my phone to see the time...to see a spotify email in my notifications also en francais. Spotify is much easier to change information on and now his account is deleted unless he responds via my email in the next seven days...which he doesn't have access to.

Nope, it pissed me off to no end actually. I found it ridiculous. Could have used that five minutes to do more stuff with Ashi and her mom, add a bit more tension, do a better job giving us old jack, anything.

Film Gold would be a fun movie for Toonami to react to... however we can't have good things.

Another Delinquent!

Are we sure all these Jim Jams aren't SPEEDWAGON's kids instead?!?
Josuke and Giorno
aren't exactly delinquents.
Josuke
respects his mom and goes to school everyday and
Giorno
has a good heart, but he's not afraid to drop bodies. He's also pretty intelligent and managed to trick a man into
shooting himself with a banana

So, completely random thought just popped into my head.

Has there ever been a series, anime or live action, that toyed with the idea of traveling back in time in a similar style to a RPG save file? Like, if they decide to record a certain day as their "save", they could return to that moment as many times as they want until they decide to "save" again.

I'm sure someone could point out some flaws like "why would they want to overwrite the "save" they have if it means it'd skip some events they might want to experience again", but I don't know, just a weird thought considering how many anime/manga/etc. like to toy with time travel like Steins;Gate, Girl Who Leapt Through Time, etc. & also how they like to make fantasy RPG parodies.

Yes, &....no? It's close, but not what I was thinking of.

I'm thinking "if I write this day & time down, I'll be able to return to this exact moment until I write down a new date."

The idea just popped into my head as I kept refreshing my Persona 5 save, hoping RNG would be in my favor & give me the skill needed for the social link. I feel like the idea would've been done by now, considering how many franchises toy with time travel or fantasy RPG parodies, but now I want to know if it's actually been done.

HStallion

Now what's the next step in your master plan?

All You Need Is Kill sort of fits that

Tonight on Toonami, Gohan's daughter Pan is born so logically Goku decides he wants to bail on his grandfatherly duties and travel across the galaxy to train under Beerus, Jack is back but he and Ashi find himself in grave danger once again, Babidi sends his henchmen after Goku and Vegeta but he may have underestimated the Saiyans' strength, Connie grieves for his family while Hange reveals some of what they've discovered about the walls, the recent unrest in the 20th ward draws the attention of anti-ghoul investigators, Gon and Killua are interrogated by the Phantom Troupe about the identity of the chain user but fortunately they don't know the truth about Kurapika's abilities...yet, Banagher races back to Industrial 7 to recover Laplace's Box but Riddhe's Banshee stands in the way, Naruto completes his training at Mount Myoboku while Pain begins his invasion of the Hidden Leaf, and Section 9 are tasked with protecting a reclusive Japanese billionaire from an assassination attempt.

8:00 - Dragon Ball Super - 17 - Pan Is Born! And Goku Goes on a Training Journey?!
...
11:00 - Samurai Jack - 60 - XCIX
11:30 - Dragon Ball Super - 17 - Pan Is Born! And Goku Goes on a Training Journey?!

Re:Zero might be up your alley. It's a set to a fantasy world anime where every time the protagonist dies, he is essentially sent back to the last "checkpoint."

I saw Edge of Tomorrow & thought it was good, though still not exactly what I'm thinking of.

I should check that out after finishing Konosuba, heard some decent stuff about that after having no idea what the show was about, aside from "look at these twins, ain't they just waifu material?!"
