anyways, i asked them if GXP would fit on Toonami if it wasn't a Tenchi show. they say "That’s a valid question, and we have to say, we don’t know! Either way, it’s on Toonami now." i don't know about you guys, but i'd say the fact that they don't know is proof enough that it really wouldn't.

Last thing Toonami needs is another 200+ episode show (even if they did show it for one hour)
Toonami needs a new older skewing show. Something in the vein of Bebop or GITS. Shows with adults as the actual originally intended audience. Technically speaking Samurai 7 was such a show, but with it gone and another shounen taking its place, Toonami is in need of some balance. Next week's lineup is shounen, shounen, shounen, American/Japanese weeknight kids' show, American weeknight kids' show (that is strangely the most mature show on the block), shounen, shounen harem, shounen, seinen, seinen, shounen, shounen. And even that "seinen" had its two manga runs, for some reason, in a shoujo magazine.
Hopefully we get something along those lines when Thundercats ends.
Then in the summer you can add One Piece.

One Piece is too long
So is Bleach and Naruto.
One piece gets to some good arcs and really fast. Once Bleach ends it would be a great fit. After all they can get it on the cheap, there is no rush since less than half the series is dubbed, and it could be a big money maker if they remove the 4kids stigma. I wouldn't mind watching One Piece from the beginning and I am sure many here would love to sit down and watch it for the first time.

Nobody else has bought the series on the air since 4kids and they have 241 episodes in the can dubbed. Plus Funimation is begging for someone to air it at this point if IIRC.

Granted the panel is really old but from the sounds of it Funimation is game to have anime on CN (Toonami) but it is up to Toonami on what they want to show.

*IF* any Gundams were to come to Toonami(which is an incredible long shot right now), it'd probably be SEED or Gundam 00. Wing's aged a bit and those two still hold up pretty well, at least in animation quality.

Not only is Soul Eater not in JUS, but it could never be in JUS or any possible sequel. Seeing how it's published in Monthly Shonen Gangan not Weekly Shonen Jump.
