I must admit, I've been curious to see how strong the Thundercats revival campaign would stay after the show finished its run on Toonami. Considering that people seem to be wowed by the artstyle and animation first and foremost, I suspect that it wouldn't change anything, but I could be wrong.

Seeing this show a second time, there was zero foreshadowing to this happening.
Like Tygra & Cheetara, they pulled this right out of their ass because they are hacks. This could have been almost like Avatar: The Last Airbender, but they wasted it. They wanted an on-going plot, but wanted it to be episodic like the original. It's like multiple writers were on board and they couldn't decide where to go so they went with ALL OF THEM!
