I just don't get why he'd bother to post something so elaborate where there was a chance nobody from Toonami GAF would read it. Heck DTL himself doesn't even watch or post at all during Toonami and he's never shown any disdain for OP in the past. It's so un-DTL like hence my confusion

I thought One Piece was doing alright, especially considering the block of episodes they jumped in during. I loved One Piece, but the Long Ring Island stuff is boring as shit to me. I mean I don't know what more you could ask for, it's over a million and isn't bleeding viewers off the shows that lead into it.
It took a year from them to gain some ground, but I think they finally started finding a block of shows that work for them, and the ratings are proving that.

One Piece is about a month away from getting really good. Water 7 is the second best arc in the series and that's only because Enies Lobby, the one that comes directly after and is basically part of the same story is even better.
The beginning of Water Seven really shows what a genius world builder Oda is. It's hard if not impossible to watch those introduction to water seven episodes without a smile on your face.

It could be people are just getting invested in Toonami's shows, which leads to a choice between the two. I have no doubt a really big card could affect the ratings, but I doubt anything below a title match will do anything at this point.

It's a damn shame that the Digimon movie was neutered so badly in the US. I really wanted to see the 2nd movie dubbed. As it stands Summer Wars is a good substitute.
UFC wasn't a PPV, and EPL aired in the middle of the day and wouldn't have much effect. I wouldn't expect either of these things to have much impact.
UFC only has a real effect if it's a PPV. Mainly because they tend to run later, and they're viewed as being more important.

I just watched the first episode of The Clone Wars and it was surprisingly good. I'll admit that I was skeptical about toonami picking it up mainly because I was turned off by the art style and never gave Clone Wars a chance when it originally aired on CN. However, bumbling comedic relief droids aside, Clone Wars is pretty entertaining.
Looks likeIGPX, Big O and Brotherhood are the only shows I still need to catch up on before Saturday. I might run through last weeks episodes of Naruto and Soul Eater even though I've already seen them.
FMAB Episode 40: JESUS F'ING CHRIST THIS EPISODE WAS AWESOME! It was great learning more about Hoeinheim's back story and how he was manipulated by the little one inside the flask. Also, I feel like shit is about to hit the fan now that Mustang knows Selim is a homunculus. I'm also interested to see what goes down at Fort Briggs...Ahh toonami can't get here soon enough! I'm so tempted to watch ahead...must...resist...
IGPX Episode 17: Damn Team White Snow is ruthless, Amy got pretty messed up and *GASP* Satomi actually lost a match!? This Liz and Takashi in-fighting is getting pretty old...they need to just bang already. The Rocket is back though so I guess that redeems the episode a little.
Big O Episode 17: I paid literally no attention to the plot, Big O seems to make me zone out. Giant Robot fights are cool though and the music is excellent as always.
