No, it's because Namco doesn't market them here.
Only now is the series really gaining traction with Zestiria getting an immediate localization confirmation.
If you think about it, Square-Enix's poor output allowed Namco and Atlus to swoop in and get an all new audience.

Well done sir, watched it yesterday myself. Some scenes I felt like were just there to lengthen the pacing but the storyline was enjoyable. Nice to see Kagura in action.
