Some guy at my campus was spreading it who just so happened to share a class with me and I got a call from the CHC that I was potentially infected, so I needed to get tested to clear the case on me.

I wasn't even on planning to in the first place. I've grown tired of "hyper violence for the sake of hyper violence" from Adult Swim years ago. At least with Black Lagoon & Hellsing Ultimate, there's an actual plot going on & it feels justified.

The violence in Hellsing feels much more stylized anyway. It's for the sake of cool, not for deliberately grossing out your viewers.

So did I. It was a quiet sort of episode and had me dozing. Nothing on the powerful haze of season one of IGPX or all of Samurai Jack but I definitely missed parts of the first episode to the point that I hit record on it so I can check it out tomorrow.

Where the hell is this Brooke Shields talk being in Mr. Pickles even coming from? Plus she isn't that old guys. She's only 49.

Seriously though, unless you are into lighthearted torture and violence porn featuring a satanic, lovable dog, just avoid it. It's just about as depraved as King Star King.

Edit: Must of missed her in the credits there.

She appears on the Mr. Pickles Wikipedia page, but she isn't on the IMDB, so now I'm not sure if she's in it.

Funny enough, in the UK, it's about £43.25, or about $70. And that's STILL cheaper than what Aniplex is offering.

....wait, PS3 isn't region-free when it comes to Blu-Ray movies, right?

I remember Fooly Cooly was $30 on DVD for TWO episodes, meaning it'd cost $90 for all 6 episodes.

Not to mention, it's still going to cost around $250 to get all the disc sets. Like damn, it doesn't even cost TV series that have 100+ episodes that much.
