This always confused me, wasn't this show big on pushing the letting go of revenge trope?
Just so everyone knows this entire episode was actually 5-6 pages in the manga.
Im always saying this. Why do you think my favorite thing is a movie that has no ties to the main plot.If all Naruto filler was directed like this I'd give even less of a shit about the main story than I do.
Even the wide establishing shots of Konoha look nothing at all like how Naruto Shippuden normally does them.
Obviously he's far too good to be working on Naruto. So what happened to the director of this episode? Did he go somewhere else?
Didn't Shikamaru start smoking or does the anime cut that out for censorship reasons?
There is an element of revenge here, but it's more like a duty and I think this episode is trying to frame it in that way and not like Sasuke's insanity.
But it is there, yeah.
Didn't Shikamaru start smoking or does the anime cut that out for censorship reasons?
Yes, can't show a teenager smoking in Japan
Ayyyye Kakashi.
To put things in perspective, fighting a member of the aktasuki is the equivalent of fighting someone who is of kage level, or if they werent all traitors they would be eligible for legit kages of their village, and they were going to fight 2 of them.
So what happened to the director of this episode? Did he go somewhere else?
Fuck yeah! What time is it, guys? Revenge o'clock, fuckers. Time for One Piece.
SpoilersPlease don't tell me naruto tags along too
fake edit: thank god
I think there's rules all over for things like that
Kakashi is drawn to great plot moments. It's weird that Kakashi would be the one to come to be honest.
He never seemed particularly close to Asuma.
I still go back to this episode every so often
