Toronto-Gaf, I need help. On Monday(25th) I will be heading down to Toronto to meet with Humber College (North) to finish up my enrolment into one of their programs. I am coming in via VIA Rail from the Brampton station (which is on 31 Church Street West). Because of how tight my appointments are, I will be taking a Taxi to the college.
Edit: And how reliable is Google Maps Public Transit Search Filter in Toronto? Should I trust it?
You can catch the Go-Bus (35/35A) directly from Brampton station, travel times aren't frequent though.

Just a heads up to anyone that wants to watch Germany Euro matches at a pub: there is a place on Fraser (a block away from King and Fraser; Liberty Village) catered to Germany fans. Its called "School" and it was damn awesome! A pub full of Germany fans = epic. Good and beer is a little on the expensive side, but it was worth it. Great atmosphere too
Pretty sure my friend went there to watch one of the Dutch games, according to her its a Dutch bar lol
Anyone have any experience using headhunters or temp agencies in Toronto?
My head is aching from this go-nowhere job search...
EDIT: I stand corrected; it is a Dutch pub.
Thanks everyone, So from the looks of it I will check out the Go Train for my way back. Hopefully everything will be able to go according to plan on my trip. I can't wait till Monday ^-^
I don't know if they are showing the game but "The Bristol Yard" (146 Christie which is between Bloor and Dupont) at is my favourite British food restaurant in Toronto.
Here is there breakfast menu:
and the dinner just because I love the place and wanna spread the word:
Actually they are open weird hours and days... so make sure to call them before going there.
Why, exactly, did you choose to take VIA from Brampton to Toronto? I can't imagine a more convoluted and expensive route than the one you're taking. Thanks everyone, So from the looks of it I will check out the Go Train for my way back. Same. Didn't go, but had a bunch of friends in Malvern so I was often in the area for parties. Plus I used to kayak down at ash bridges bay.I want to add I love the Beaches as well. Never will call it "the beach". Used to spend my high school days hanging out in that neighbourhood. Had a ton a friends who went to Malvern and Norte Dame.

Leviathan is such an amazing rollercoaster. I rode it four times today since there were no lines cuz it rained earlier in the day.
It is so smooth compared to most coasters.
Anyone that rides it: sit in the very front car because it's way better that way.
Happy Monday everyone.

Oh wow, that's very nice. I should move there.
Wouldn't be High Park since that would be west Toronto, this seems to be north Toronto. I'm not as familiar with that part so I'm not sure exactly how far north this would be from.Where do you think it's taken? I was trying to figure it out.. I thought maybe around High Park area or something?

It's Dovercourt Rd and Hepbourne St, near Dufferin (Grove) Park. Dufferin has its share of issues, but as you push more toward Ossington, I really love the neighbhorhood and houses in the area.
Hilarious that this continues to happen and Lakeshore and cross streets under the crumbling overpass stay open, while no one really wants to bring up the 'final solution' for the Gardiner again. Hopefully no one is hurt.
Falling concrete from Gardiner Expressway hits car
One of my favorite neighborhoods. Great for walking, and very livable with all the shops along Queen St and transit. Love it.
It hasn't always been this bad and it's going to get worse.I guess they are going to close the road down? I think they said they would do that if any more concrete falls.
has it always been this bad?
He said last week he wouldn't but then again he showed up at that other event last month after saying he wouldn't.Wonder if Ford will show up for the Pride Flag raising today.

Oh, my mistake. That makes much more sense.Wha? I'm coming from Windsor. My trip is Window-London-Brampton. Reason I chose Brampton was because it was the closest to the college, plus last week VIA Rail was doing tickets to Brampton at 50% off
This is a really attractive neighborhood, but I wouldn't hang around there at night.Happy Monday everyone.
