We went to see X-Men: First Class at Yonge & Dundas, and apparently there was a 'crazy hail/thunderstorm' while we were inside? Interesting.

The heat today was definitely up there, mostly in the sticking to yourself sense. I even brought the A/C out of the closet, but I can't bring myself to install it in the window. I'm such a lazy bastard, and I want a portable A/C.

edit: By the way, I'm sorry I've been delaying on a fancier new Toronto-Age thread. I have a lot of the graphics and content developed, I just need to put in a few hours to iron it all out. We'll see what it happens!

They're all pretty terrible, each in their own ways. Not worth the price of a movie ticket+snacks these days, but a good waste of a couple of hours around the house maybe.

edit: By the way, The Star ran at article on another construction mishap in the city. Another one with Enbridge. It never ends in this city, I swear. They've been ripping up Roncesvalles for three times longer than they 'planned' originally, and there's a new chunk of Bloor West Village being ripped up every couple of months for the last two years. It's understandable that work needs to get done on these ageing systems, but there's no thought, planning, timing, and often a lack of information to businesses and residents in the area.

Not to mention fixing a sidewalk in Toronto consist of patching it up unevenly with asphalt, and never speaking of it again.
