If true, what a terrible fucking idea. My mother had a mass discovered that turned out to be colon cancer about a year ago today. The surgeon said he didn't want to waste any time and the surgery happened a year later. She almost didn't make it, apparently the tumor was huge, but she's alive and at home today after six months in hospital. Luckily the cancer had not spread.

My Mom had her right lung removed after doctors found a mass. They planned to just take part of it out, but had to take the full thing due to its size.

She then got infection from that, had to have it drained and got pneumonia from a PSW who came in with whooping cough (that fucking idiot).

After a couple of years, she had a seizure and had to have spots on her brain radiated, then one taken away via physical surgery.

Then a lung infection and pneumonia returned, so she was in hospital for a lot of the summer.

I hope there's no cancer there, but they said there may be another spot. They're unsure about it, though, because it was seen on her lung and the lung specialist said it could just have been infection or pneumonia showing.

Here's hoping, because I'm incredibly close to her.
